i promise you that i was thinking of him not too long ago while listening to a podcast or something talking about players with CTE. He wasn't mentioned, but i remember the story about him randomly going into a church a few years ago buggin out.

Even though I'm a fan of the rival team, I always respected how hard dude ran, just went about his business and ANYONE trying to tackle him, whew!!! Good luck. Don't know the circumstances behind his death but as a player on the field I really appreciated what he brought..

He meant more in style than production I believe. Still I get what you're saying because Earl was a three-time rushing champ in his first three seasons. And made the Hall of Fame after only eight seasons.
