I don’t think weed is inherently bad. It’s just the fact that it’s a black market commodity that causes the destruction that we see in neighborhoods.

HIV/STDs are prevalent in the black community . Let's discuss the data that correlates HIV/STDs with the use of Marijuana
Adolescents and young adults are among the groups at highest risk for acquiring HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases (STDs; CDC, 2005). The number of young people living with AIDS in the United States increased 42% from 2000–2004 and recent surveillance data indicate that adolescents incur a substantial proportion of new STD infections (CDC, 2009). Compared with adolescents in the general population, those involved with the juvenile justice system are at substantially higher risk for HIV/STDs and are considered an important focal group from a public health standpoint (Malow, Dévieux, Jennings, Lucenko, & Kalichman, 2001; Malow, Rosenberg, Donenberg, & Dévieux, 2006; Teplin, Mericle, McClelland, & Abram, 2003; Robbins & Bryan, 2004). Adjudicated youth report earlier sexual initiation, more lifetime sexual partners, lower rates of condom use, and higher incidence of STDs than the general adolescent population (e.g., Hammett, Gaiter, & Crawford, 1998; Teplin et al., 2003). Moreover, high rates of substance use, psychiatric comorbidity and externalizing behaviors are presumed to exacerbate HIV/STD risk in this group (Bryan & Stallings, 2002; Malow et al., 2001; 2006).
Although substance use is invariably cited as an important cofactor for HIV/STD risk, the co-occurrence of substance use and risky sex is a particularly prominent issue among adjudicated youth given a high prevalence of both behaviors (Malow et al., 2006). Whereas alcohol use has been studied extensively in relation to sexual risk behavior among adolescents (Cooper, 2002), some findings indicate that marijuana use is more prevalent than alcohol use among adjudicated youth (Kingree & Betz, 2003; Malow et al., 2001; Teplin et al., 2003). This finding is noteworthy given a growing literature documenting covariation among marijuana use and sexual risk behaviors. For instance, several studies suggest significantly higher STD incidence among marijuana users compared to non-users (e.g., Boyer et al., 1999; De Genna, Cornelius, & Cook, 2007; Mertz et al., 2000; Shrier, Harris, Sternberg, & Beardslee, 2001; Smith et al., in press; Wu, Ringwalt, Patkar, Hubbard, & Blazer, 2009). Although most studies have focused on dichotomous indicators of marijuana use, some evidence suggests greater STD rates as a function of increasing levels of use (De Genna et al., 2007; Smith et al., in press). The majority of these studies included adolescent or young adult samples, suggesting that marijuana use is a marker for HIV/STD risk in these groups.
The current findings extend prior research by examining associations of marijuana use and sex-related marijuana expectancies with HIV/STD risk behavior in a sizable sample of adjudicated youth. The results of this study converge with prior reports suggesting that marijuana use is a likely marker for HIV/STD risk, particularly in high-risk adolescent populations. The present findings further suggest that associations of marijuana use and sexual risk behavior can be moderated by individual difference variables, including marijuana expectancies. Broader dispositional factors, including those related to behavioral disinhibition, could also be relevant for characterizing these associations. The use of methodological approaches that account for possible confounds related to individual difference variables will be important for addressing the possibility of causal associations of marijuana with sexual risk outcomes in future studies.

In many ways, African-Americans have been hit harder by HIV than any other racial or ethnic group in the United States. A larger portion of this community gets AIDS diagnoses and has HIV-related deaths. On average, African-Americans with AIDS don't live as long as the other groups.
AIDS is a leading cause of death in African-Americans, especially in young women. The CDC says that in 2014, four times as many black women were diagnosed with HIV than Hispanic women, and 3.5 times as many than white women.

Melanin & Marijuana
Marijuana is a plant in the grass family. It is classified as a “weed,” which is where the slang term comes from. Marijuana can be used as a medicine in the form of an oil, a poultice, or as a food. It should be noted that people have a hard time digesting marijuana because humans are not naturally grass eaters. Marijuana, used as a medicine, MUST be used in raw form. It is important that the marijuana be used IMMEDIATELY after it is harvested because it loses its healing properties as soon as it is picked. It would be ideal to add the raw marijuana to a green smoothie if you plan to ingest it and also to freeze the smoothie if you don’t plan to drink it right away, in order to preserve the health benefits of the marijuana.
When it comes to smoking marijuana, or eating marijuana edibles such as brownies or candies, marijuana is extremely toxic. The moment you burn or cook marijuana, it becomes a drug. Whenever you want to make a drug, you have to cook or burn something. Marijuana becomes poisonous when it is heated up, just as cocoa beans become poisonous when they are made into chocolate or coca leaves become poisonous when they are made into cocaine. When marijuana is burnt or cooked, it is transformed into a deadly synthetic chemical. It becomes a depressant, which decreases and/or slows down bodily functions, nerve activities, critical thinking, frequency and depth of breathing, and gland secretions, as well as increases the aging of the body. Burnt or cooked marijuana weakens the liver, the brain, the eyes, and the sex organs. This can manifest as hormonal imbalance, nerve damage, reduced mineral absorption, decreased nutrients in the brain, and/or lung cancer, bronchitis, or other lung diseases.
Marijuana, whether bought legally from dispensaries or illegally from “drug dealers” are unnaturally bred by being hybridized and/or genetically modified. They are also grown in poor quality soil, watered with poor quality water, and sprayed with toxic pesticides. This results in marijuana being MORE addictive then it would normally be, which results in having stronger withdrawal episodes. Symptoms of withdrawal include hunger cravings known as “the munchies” which are a result of liver damage, dehydration known as “cotton mouth”, headaches, hot and cold flashes, rapid mood swings, insomnia, and a warped sense of reality. Marijuana addiction is a result from the synthetic chemicals produced when marijuana is heated up. Melanin identifies the synthetic chemicals and binds to them in order to remove them from the body. The feeling produced in the process is known as “being high.” The “high” feeling is the really the feeling of the Melanin being depleted from the body, and the end result is the person using the marijuana becomes Melanin deficient. Because Black people have the greatest amount of Melanin, we get “higher” at a faster rate and on a higher level than any other people.
Marijuana, along with tobacco, was grown on the plantations that had enslaved Afrikans working on them, at a higher rate than cotton, rice, or any other of the “cash crops”. Cocaine was used as a means to make the enslaved Afrikans work harder, faster, and for longer periods of times. Alcohol was used as a means to make the enslaved Afrikans more docile and less likely to revolt. The same plantations owning families that produced alcohol, tobacco, and marijuana are the same families that own the major alcohol, tobacco, and marijuana producing companies in the present day. Whenever Black people buy alcohol, tobacco, and/or marijuana, we are putting money into the hands of the descendants of the enslavers of our Ancestresses and Ancestors. At the same time, we are killing ourselves at a faster rate than we died during the enslavement era. We are essentially still “picking tobacco and marijuana” when we go to the store to pick tobacco or marijuana and their accessories off the shelf. This is not only enriching the europeans, but also the arab, indian, chinese, or other asian store owners who sell us the tobacco, the alcohol, and the marijuana and other drug accessories. Some of these store owners will allow drug dealers to make sells in their stores, for a fee of course. These Asian middle men are the same middle men from the enslavement era who worked hard at catching Afrikans to sell to the Europeans to be enslaved. Our willingness to give our hard earned money to the people who oppress Afrikan people in return drugs that will further subjugate us into oppression is a psychological and physical expression of self-hatred among Black people.
There are a growing number of Negroes who are telling people that marijuana is beneficial to Black people and that Black people used marijuana in ancient Afrika for spiritual purposes or to achieve "higher consciousness." In reality, whether they know it or not, they working are working for the enemies of Black people by contributing to the high amount of drug addiction in the Afrikan race and the subsequent self-destruction in Black communities. The truth is, like ALL OTHER DRUGS, marijuana is anti-spiritual. All drugs disconnect Black people from their Ancestresses and Ancestors, the goddesses and gods, and the Great-Mother and Great-Father. All Drugs also open Black people up to be influenced or even possessed by spirits of disorder. Thus is why alcohol is also known as “spirits.” These spirits are either the deceased spirits of non-Afrikan people, or the deceased spirits of Afrikans that are Earth bound because they were engaged in perverse behavior, such as witchcraft, murder, drug or sexual addiction, or sexual deviancy such as homosexuality, rape, incest, pedophilia, and/or interracial relationships.
AN AFRIKAN WOMAN OR MAN DOES NOT USE OR SELL MARIJUANA, TOBACCO, ALCOHOL, OR ANY OTHER DRUG, NOR DO THEY ATTEMPT TO JUSTIFY OR CONDONE EITHER OF THOSE BEHAVIORS.

We not talking about church. We talking about religion. The church is the community center, the religion is the ideology. I'll say it is certainly religion that is more damaging because its a lie, and it has taught black folks that the earthly life does not matter and that there is a reward in the hereafter. And its taught them stupid shyt like the devil controls this world, and when god comes back itll be better. So they dont build or plan for the future, and its made black folks brainwashed and completely reactionary.

Technically we could do that with the church. We dont have to have Christianity as the ideology. Hell we've been sold an improper brand of Christianity any due the the Latin Catholic influence.
We could turn the church into an enterprise and employ people, and also use the funding to buy land so we can be one of the largest real estate holders in diff areas (like the Vatican does).
If i was an enterprising church, with a publishing house etc there would be way more than the pastor\bishop in a Ferrari, and a whole lot of people would be eating very good. And we'd be able to hide money and find tax havens via the church.
I fuxing hate the religion thats being taught in the Church, but I recognize the usefulness of the Ekklesia. Black folks need to look at the Vatican and the Jews. And the Nazis too.
