WB didn't even 100% fund Joker because they thought it was gonna lose them money and that was only a 55M budget with one of the most iconic CB villains in the world. Why would they think that BOP was gonna make SS money? It's more than likely WB cut a deal in pre-production to prevent them from losing money on this movie as well. Getting HBO Max/Warner Max ready for launch in May is probably the highest priority over there right now. Besides they got Harley merch. sales and dvds/streaming to make up for the lost by the end of the year.

i won't even deny it, but i don't think i get into the "stan wars" shyt all that much. I've enjoyed the past few DC movies for the most part. WW2 looks lightyears better than Black Widow, imo. we'll see if that stands, but that trailer was great, BW's left me empty.
