The movie was enjoyable to me. When they had the girls fighting at the end, I couldn't help thinking thats where marvel messed up in Endgame. Marvel female characters arent built up yet but they could have had a fight scene like the one they did here. Probably not based on the tone of that movie. Since I dont know much about the characters in this movie, i didnt go in with any kind of attachment. It was definitely more enjoyable than suicide squad. I would reccomend it.

The one thing I hate is that we arent getting a batman in this universe. Like someone said earlier, he should be a boogyman that's mentioned or referenced, like the batmobile idea posted earlier. I wish they would have casted someone younger, initially or casted Robert Patterson earlier, then Ben Afleck, so we could still have everyone in the same universe and not this multi verse we got going on right now.

Joker will go down as a classic. You may not care for it personally, but if a film with a low budget cost eventually go down as one of the most profitable films ever made, the only R-rated film to gross over a billion and without China, has the most Oscar nominations this year with an almost guarantee of a win for best actor, made those Bronx stairs iconic...
Yea, it'll be a classic.

So it's a classic for everything except being a good story :dead:

Movie was ok, but I kept thinking that any of the events would have triggered The Batman showing up. Weird to have a movie in a universe he exist with no mention whatsoever.

Not really, because Batman cannot be at one place at all times. As huge as Gotham is and as many villains that exist in Gotham alone, and the fact that Joker isn't no where to be found as well, It is quite possible that Batman (and the Joker) maybe busy dealing with more IMPORTANT things than a simple diamond caper.

This was my problem with the movie. Batman doesn’t need to be in it, but he’s the boogy man. He should be on everyone’s minds. Especially after that stunt Harley pulled blowing up a chemical plant with employees inside, and Huntress dropping bodies in the streets of Gotham. The last scene of the movie, should have been a close up of Harley enjoying her sandwich, and the Batmobile racing up in the background.

I think the fact they used Joker as the boogeyman instead makes more sense narrative-wise, because of him being the boogeyman and Harley Quinn pulled the stunt of blowing up the chemical plant led to everything that happened in the movie.

And Batman probably isn't going to give two shyts about Harley Quinn.... too small potatoes.

Yea, it'll be a classic.

We gotta really dial back from that take a bit.

It don’t matter if they had China or not, they still had a strong international market, a market which was the only reason they even got a billion (whether deserving or not)

A lot of the other billion dollar movies crushed it domestically

Those other factors touted are enough
