@krackdagawd
this are the chopping over hand rights i'm taking about which he threw the majority of the fight trying to get over the shoulder roll

uppercut.gif

which floyd would counter off the ropes

in the gift y posted he actually throws a regular over hand right, it doesn't land flush though

I scored the fight 8-4 for Floyd but I'm not running with that narrative you nikkas have that Maidana didn't do shyt and only fought dirty.

Maidana did great work in that fight and did something few have done, get to the inside on Floyd behind his work. You don't do that with low blows and elbows pleighboi, you do that with boxing. :sas1:

antonio margarito threw 100 punches per round too...won't matter on 9/13.

i'm pretty confident floyd's gameplan will be different, and he will frustrate & mentally fatigue maidana. maidana's no monster.

Floyd never got in the ring with Antonio Margarito to face those 100 punches per round though....he ducked him:manny:

Maidana can outwork Floyd and make it a very tough fight for him again if he doesnt gas out like last time, but I expect Floyd to be on his bike in this fight...similar to how he fought Carlos Baldomir and win by wide decision

maidana threw floyd off his game by cheating
its really as simple as that
low blows, head butting (led to bleeding) rabbit punching, throw downs
it was a joke
floyd had a off night but maidana didnt fight like he was blanka it probably woulda been another wipe out
especially if da ref actually did something
i scored it 8-4 myself

yup it was him fighting dirty and nothing else :shaq2:

If that's the case might as well give Ric Flair some gloves if fighting dirty is all it takes to give Mayweather a hard time. :camby:

I predicated the 1st fight was going to be tough for Floyd, cats were coming like I was crazy....I see things have changed

I can see Floyd walking Maidana down this fight, he's the bigger guy, and when he does it completely fukks wit his opponent because they expect him to do the opposite.

Maidana only real chance is to keep Floyd on the ropes, and I still feel just like in the Cotto fight he intentionally played the ropes to make it a more action-filled fight, But that gives Maidana a chance to out-work him and pull one of on the scorecards
I'm saying you nikkas ignore Maidana working behind his jab, you ignore the body work, you ignore the punches that he did land on some "It was only because he fought dirty".

If that's the case sign the nature boy up he'll take them brass knucks out his trunks and ko in 3 :whew:
because one doesnt work without the other
he can prove me wrong in a few weeks
he doesnt have to win, but if he can do those things again without the horse play, then i will give him props
the dirty play was so blantant it was hard to ignore

i was impresssed by his body work tho

Why do ya'll talk about he gassed like it wasn't because Floyd was actively taking the body. His pops told him early in the fight to keep going to the body. Maidana gassed because Floyd was doing work on the torso.

This is how the fight will go...

Floyd will move more, pop the jab and catch him on the way in with that right hand. Maidana will have moments to get off on the ropes(very few). Floyd will tie up and throw short lil counter shots in close quarters.

BTW, that 100 punches a round...PBBBBFFFTTTT!!! By the 4 or 5th round he won't be anywhere near that pace. The more you throw the more you get countered and people seem to disregard the fact that if yu constantly getting countered throwing shots, you get gunshy and that shyt is UNIVERSAL!

i dont understand why its so hard to believe floyd mayweather can decline...he's a human..every boxer does..it can take 1 fight, 2 fights, 1 year, 2 years, 1 decade, 2 decades...it happens...i said it before....he's 37 who's fought professionally since 96...there were small telling signs of physical decline in that maidana fight..that fight was hard because maidana style made it hard and floyd's body is aging to the point where it was hard for him to the handle that type of physicality..nonetheless he still won officially and on my card 115-113...unless floyd commits a serious body attack to slow him down the same thing could happen again even though i think he also will win the rematch

I thought Floyd looked slow in the Ortiz fight

AGREE TO SOME EXTENT BUT 90% OF HIS GOOD WORK was from dirty tactics. He'd throw 5 rabbit punches then land 1 rabbit punch and use that momentum to cleanly punch. That fight is a disgrace. Floyd needs to fight Lara or Cotto/Canelo 2. I m not paying for that card at all
