He is def in the argument but I don't see the rest of the boxing community agreeing with Wlad as #1.

SOG #1 and there won't be anything they can do :wow:
you have to realize 2 of the cats he took the titles from are long retired lol..thats some longevity...and im no wlad fan

it makes sense. when you really look at it, does floyd does floyd ever fights a full 3 or even 2 minutes a round? its more like a minute and some change. floyd still a defensive fighter by heart, something that teddy atlas always points out is, that floyd always give opportunities when on the ropes to be outworked. i think that if floyd were to be outworked it will be something ugly like calzaghe like when he edge out a decision against hopkins. i thought chino did good work when floyd was on the ropes, until he gassed.
Good work = rabbit punching? :what:
they wanted to do it, they just couldnt
floyd was a lil off his game that fight for whatever reason dat fight
might be age, distractions, or mayb just a off night period
as long as floyd counters maidana when he tries that wild shyt and stays off the ropes, it should be a easy fight
i remember he was on the ropes a lot during the cotto fight too (right before going to jail)

hope it dont turn into roy jones with dat shyt:lupe:

yeah, he was definitely off. I'm hoping it was the distractions and not the age.

Shouldn't be a problem just like it wasn't a problem last time. Floyd doesn't have the best footwork. It's decent but what keeps opponents from rushing in like Chino did last fight is his timing, defense, and counterpunching. Chino just doesn't give a shyt about any of that. :heh:

I got Chino in a decision for a number of reasons but outworking is just one of them.

Floyd has some of the best footwork in the game :what: Where the fukk you nikkas get this shyt from?

are u fukkking kidding me?

chino did throw some rabbit punches but lets not act like he didn't land any clean punches on the ropes, especially that overhand right hand. wild punches but some of them landed clean on floyd something thats rarely done.

Dog how many of those "clean" punches landed in ratio to the rabbit punching? Seriously, it's not like he was catching Floyd every other punch or some shyt.
This ain't 1999 breh, Floyd footwork isn't what it used to be. Part of the reason Maidana was so successful is because we are starting to see a decline imo.

We shall see

i dont understand why its so hard to believe floyd mayweather can decline...he's a human..every boxer does..it can take 1 fight, 2 fights, 1 year, 2 years, 1 decade, 2 decades...it happens...i said it before....he's 37 who's fought professionally since 96...there were small telling signs of physical decline in that maidana fight..that fight was hard because maidana style made it hard and floyd's body is aging to the point where it was hard for him to the handle that type of physicality..nonetheless he still won officially and on my card 115-113...unless floyd commits a serious body attack to slow him down the same thing could happen again even though i think he also will win the rematch
