it makes sense. when you really look at it, does floyd does floyd ever fights a full 3 or even 2 minutes a round? its more like a minute and some change. floyd still a defensive fighter by heart, something that teddy atlas always points out is, that floyd always give opportunities when on the ropes to be outworked. i think that if floyd were to be outworked it will be something ugly like calzaghe like when he edge out a decision against hopkins. i thought chino did good work when floyd was on the ropes, until he gassed.
And it was Maidana getting gassed midway through that completely took away any shot he had to pull off the upset in that fight. So hopefully dropkicking Ariza out of training camp is going to result in Maidana having better stamina. And if Floyd spends large chunks of time on the ropes allowing Miadana to get off I could see some judges scoring the fight Chino's way.

Good work = rabbit punching? :what:

yeah, he was definitely off. I'm hoping it was the distractions and not the age.

Floyd has some of the best footwork in the game :what: Where the fukk you nikkas get this shyt from?

I get it from watching the fights.

Don't confuse great defensive skill with footwork.

This is a smarter technique than trying to land clean power punches against Floyd. Guys cant find the right opening and their offense slows down.

I have always felt the best way to keep a fight with Floyd close is just incredible activity. He will still make you miss most of your shots, but he is so defensively responsible that you can slow down his offense by providing offense of your own, even if it is ineffective.

Seems like Maidana's best shot to me. He can try to steal rounds just by being the aggressor, who cares what lands or if no damage is done.

are u fukkking kidding me?

chino did throw some rabbit punches but lets not act like he didn't land any clean punches on the ropes, especially that overhand right hand. wild punches but some of them landed clean on floyd something thats rarely done.

does chopping over hand rights were not landing, he got in short punches though

So it went from he didn't land any to now he didn't land any with power. :mjpls:

When did I say he didn't land a punch

I said those chopping over hand rights which he threw a lot of were not landing

you posted a gift of one slipping in, which didn't cause in damage, becuase he didn't throw with any power and floyd was already moving his head away fr the punch

the body shots that got in that same gif were a lot better punches
