Maidana was visibly tired by the 6th round and it had a lot more to do with his own conditioning issues than anything Floyd was doing. If you can't admit that then I don't know what to say to you.

I have to watch the fight again, but after the first round in the corner, Floyd and his pop at the same time said, "wait till he tires out." Right after that the camera cut to Maidana's corner and Garcia was like, "That's great! Can you give me 11 more rounds of that!" Around round 5 or 6, you could see Maidana slowing down and his attempts becoming more wreckless and wild. His punches are already awkward. His overhand is borderline a club and his jab is a noogie. He's a mess, but again around 5 or 6 he slowed down and didn't throw as much, nor as awkwardly accurate or however you want to describe his style.

There is one point though they have to be fair. Those straight shots to the body were pretty consistent if I remember correctly. They don't look like much but I remember Chino taking a step back a couple times early in that fight after Floyd landed those. I'm sure it played a role into him slowing down. Still I think nobody can maintain that pace for an entire fight which the major reason he slowed down.

do you know what ineffective means, we can all say he loss a few of the first 6 rounds but 30% land % (that's counting punches that were probably blocked as well) and body work, Mayweather was fresh as fukk 6-12.
