when Kyle Chandler shocked everyone and beat out Buscemi (Boardwalk Empire), Hall (Dexter), Hamm (Mad Men), Laurie (House), & Olyphant (Justified) and took home the Emmy Award for best lead actor for season 5
Man this show is easily top 2. Different type of show but I never got obsessed with a show until breaking bad and it's my personal GOAT but when it ended I was just like
When I started watching this I loved every minute too but it caught me more in an emotional way, when I got to the end of FNL I felt .... I still haven't got over it, I want another season brehs
Totally agree, said it many times before but being in the UK we dont care for American Football, but that didnt matter at all for FNL. Its all about the characters and relationships.
I got so attached to some of them.
Only show ive got lumps in my throat.
The chemistry between Taylor and his wife was excellent, it was like they were a real life couple, surely they added lots of ab-libs as it just seemed so real.
The low key realest thing ever on the show was the storyline about smash's gf with bipolar / borderline personality disorder. I have seen that type of relationship first hand and it is exactly as they described including the fathers concern and essentially leaning on the BF for help / Intel / monitoring....pretty real shyt
