Just started that Witch Hat manga...volume one was solid.

Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective Volume 8

So that whole Cabbage "Case" was because Spitz hated cabbage. . Well it was fun to see all the characters together so I'll take the fan service.

The archery case was an interesting one. First we are introduced to Nora whos a self studied detective, but his rank is C. What is in the top 10 percentille. . This character screams suspicious. The case dealt with an archer being shot with an arrow. Nakamae-sensei gets accused and admits it to where she admits it.

But the twist here is that Nora mentions she is lying. Which if you recall when Ron lied about working in a sweets cafe, Nora replied with detective cafe? Which still is wrong, but it feels like Nora has some skill like Ron that instinctively activates on a situation. It makes sense why people distrust him when you put together a portion of the truth and lie mixed together that sounds more stupid then a lie or the truth. Ron runs with this and was able to deduce due to sensei's bad hearing this was an accident. Her using a different bow and arrow was due to her being in a slump. Basically she was responsible but there had to be a reason for him being there.

In the 3rd arc we had a case where the victims whom were killed had a number carved in and a coin inside their stomachs which they found in the autopsy. We are finally introduced to Dr. Hirsch whom despite being an A ranked was demoted from S due to being a suspect. And that isn't too surprising given his nature. He comes across as a MASSIVE dikk. He openly ridicules Ron and moments like requesting to do the autopsy and even hiding what he found during it raises so many red flags. But it turns out the biggest evidence between the victims was their age and who performed the autopsy. Which leads to the killer being Nagaoka is the serial killer. His backstory makes you sick. Yes the friend who hid the diamond is a major a$$hole as well, but it doesn't justify the crime.

The big thing is regards to the M family where Dr. Hirsch has a STRONG reaction regarding the M family. So Fin-sensei is the one working for them? It leans more strongly to that, but the problem is Fin-sensei pushed Ron to continue being a detective, while Dr. Hirsch is deter Ron from continuing the case. His reaction was also out of character. There very well could be another person that is the actual informant. Volume ends with Ron meeting someone who claims that were Ron's friend. And the clear case of something is up is given the fact that they didn't meet Ron till days before the bloody field trip incident.

God bless her grandma she had good intentions wanting Rin to be happy. It can't be underestimated how much that hurts for Rin. Not only Mai couldn't live up to her dream, but her life is now cut short along with her mother. Hopefully things start to get better for her.

With that said, most manga being read online is pirated and translated by fans who can add expletives and slang at their own discretion. Anime used to fall under this jurisdiction too with fansubs but the dubbing companies started doing subs too and churning them out quickly which phased out the fansub communities. Shoutout to Kaizoku fansubs.

This aint the first, nor the rawest black created manga tho. Dog nikka still holds the crown

Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective Volume 9

The first was simple but it was pretty interesting. So it seems like when Hiiragi "lost" her phone to make it seem like it was someone else who sent the message. But the result was sad to think Hiiragi wanted to avenge her mother and pin the blame on Haruno-Sun. As a child it makes sense with everything adds up once you hear that story. Thankfully Toto stop her before she made a mistake she would regret. Tho why even give out those chocolates .

At the end we learn that Elmer is working with the M family. It was known that they were connected to Blue, but not necessarily an instructor. Also we see Winter possibly defecting due to anger to Milo for killing her younger sister. She giving him the file of the Bloody Field Trip Case makes things interesting now. It's funny how Ron is technically more humbled now then he was back then . The big key here is that Elmer seemed very fixated on Ron leading to him be the most likely one to frame him

So Milo has invited Ron, Dr. Hisrach, Fin-Sensei, Shachi and Elmer. A man was poisoned from wine which is clear done by Elmer. The big problem is that Milo is preventing the cruise from stopping and Ron needs to find Elmer before more people died.

Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective Volume 10

This twists really got me

So Sachi is the informant worker for the M family. In all honestly Fin-sensei and Dr. Hisrach really seemed less and less likely as the volume turned out. Dr. Hisrach well for one we now know that his reaction to the M family is genuine. But the fact that his A rank detective license was stolen and wouldn't want to put him in position to be suspected. In fact each evidence that Fin-sensei was unlikely to be the serial killer makes sense. It would be go against his nature to put Fin in danger. So then ultimately it came down to Elmer. And the manga did a great trick in the previous volume to think he was talking to Milo. But apparently that wasn't a thing and it was a trick in the readers mind to suspect him. But it seems thanks to Winter Ron was able to get Spitz to the last bit of evidence he needed.

Now the killings were full indicative of the M family. The informant Sachi never killed anyone but rather they had close loved ones kill each other. Which for the first two is a really really fukked up scenario to force them in. But this is one aspect that leads to Elmer and Dr. HIsrach innocence. These two didn't need to do this method and in fact they could have made the first two incidents much easier. Also same logic actually works with Fin-sensei. We know how dedicated Sachi is to her. So if she was the informant it would be close to impossible without Sachi being caught up in the killings as well. However Sachi is the one who need to be near Fin-sensei so he isn't suspected, but to also make sure Fin-sensei isn't wrongly accused.

Now the cliffhanger to this volume is fukking brutal. In the end Ron now is forced to make a decision does he save his first true friend Toto or the lives of all of these passengers.

This is the culimination of all the chapters that came before that and it is executed so well

OnK Ch. 129

The two most important aspects in film making is the direction and the script. Obviously the script for the movie has been long completed. But it really shows how everything goes through the director Gotanda. Ruby has her own thoughts regarding AI, but she never knew her outside of idolizing her as an idol. And that didn't change much when she became her daughter. Its clear Gotanda has a much better understanding of the true AI.

In this chapter when he says Ai is dumber he knows that will trigger Ruby and will bring out the anger that was part of Ai naturally. Which most likely was only known by those close to her.

Kindergarten Wars Ch. 50

The line where Rita asks Luke about his future really cut deep . Dude has this self hatred of himself and he probably doesn't think he deserves much in this life. But protecting these kids is the one thing keeping him going. Kids are naive and pure (most of the time),and they don't care about his past. That hug was a big show of that.

Also makes it ironic for him being a Shoujo manga fan and loves reading about love all because he can't love himself.

Dead Mount Death play Volume 10

New volume came in. The end of this arc now moving to a more underworld one.

Simply put thanks to the help from the Emperor and the others Polka seems to take care of business with Civil rather smoothly. Tho truly Corpse God is a genuine good person. He understands that while he could kill the 3 of them there is no need to. Since they are no longer a threat and even gives them incentive to corporate, which they will be fools not to agree to.Higuro seems to cooporating with Fire Breathing Bug. Well this plot point is something that may a be a bit while till we get to.

Now the big thing from this volume is the aftermath and how it affects Clarissa and we go back to the issue of the bounty on Polka. While she have her people no longer issue the bounty they are other powers still willing to go after him. Those in Shibuya, Roppongi, Ikebuegro, Akihabra and Shizuoka. Each of them has a similiar intimidating presence as Clairisa. Anda Lucia is a fukking scary threat. Even a scarier bytch then Clairisa. Soldati is def more of the business minded approach. Lastly Katashiro simply is the quite dangerous type. And then Shibuya's new mediator is the Akuragas.

To make things even weirder Takeru ended up okaying the alliance she made with Majiri. To make to add more to stir the pot. Her origins is of an actual vampire and a scary one at that. The fact Riz fears her so much makes her already scary presence even more. But the family isn't of vampires so this brings a lot of things into question.At the very least its apparent she is now the biggest threat in this arc. Also the conversation between Riz and Rozan really nice. In the dynamic talking about his and Polka's mother. It seems like she endured a lot to survive, but its nice she had Rozan till her last moments. And Rozan continues to show he may be a scary individual he is a great person. Without hesitation he welcomes Riz as his son granted a son older then himself. I hope this leads him to tell Polka that they are brothers this really adds on what Riz wants to do and achieve peace while protecting those dear to him.

Agukaras seem they will be aiming to be in contact with Riz or whom they assume is Polka. The fact that the real Polka and the Shibuya meditator are childhood friends is an unexpected spin. With this being known I am very curious how the conversation will go and I wonder if Polka actually remembers him.

New series on jump+. Where it follows a Witch Enforcer/Police Officer Natalia with her cursed apprentice Elliot. Solid first chapter. Basically in this world we have witches but they come from the moon which is an optimal place to live and where they have advanced there own culture. But there is an association with earth as human culture offers then more fun. This is more apparent to Dorothy in this chapter which coming to earth brought happiness to her life. But also despair. I do expect this will have a case of the week type of thing early on.

Hopefully it will be similar to Ron Kamonohashi where these cases/requests of the week will be the building blocks for them as they seek out the witch that cursed Elliot. Tho it does feel like villain of the week seems like the format. I like Nata and Elliot as leads they seem to really gel well together. Elliot is very earnest perhaps too earnest. Natalia doesn't wear her emotions on her sleeve, but she does show great empathy without trying to show it.
