Bruh that MHA chapter.... This nikka is getting out of control with the talk no jutsu. The Dabi situation got a pass because they family and Endeavor is the best written character in the series but this shyt?

Ochako connecting with Toga just feels so fake and what is with this author and random panels portraying the characters as children? Im supposed to feel sorry for this hoe as she is actively murking people? I'm just seeing the series through to the end at this point, this was an unbelievably corny chapter. And the art is a fukking mess, you can only tell whats going on like every 3 panels
Literally, I'm just trying to see this through to the end because of time invested. This has been bad for a while but this latest chapter was like a summation of all the worst decisions he's made in the entire series. I already know we're going to see a similar scene in the finale with Tomura and it's ridiculous.

i dont know how you're still able to put up with MHA AND Kingdom anymore man :wow:
Kingdom doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same tier as MHA, that's disrespectful. This Riboku super plot armor shyt is absolutely ass. Pacing is the biggest issue, manga been going for 17 years and they still haven't conquered a single kingdom. :deadrose:

The characters and world building are A1 though.

Thats why I wanna read Kingdom, but I know damn well 700+ chapters I need to clear up my reading list. Kingdom is on my radar for S5 plan to catch up to that.

On another note idk how y'all still keep up with series like BC and MHA when legit every-time these 2 series get brought up everyone is pissed af at the direction. Plus MHA really almost at volume 40. Just judging from the anime idk how the series could go on for that long. I know people say Demon Slayer ending is rushed from what I heard, but that is much better then dragging something and quality severely suffers.

Demon Slayer wasn't a rushed ending IMO, they just kept a constant pace and didn't slow it down or insert unnecessary detours. The result? End of the road and it touched on everything it needed to while not trying to wrap up every little detail, the best stories in any medium leave something to the imagination.

no bias

but kingdom is what haters paint one piece as. damn near 1000 chapters and this shyt has went 3 blocks

i would never recommend it to anyone. i was just too invested years ago and thought it'd crank up after a few especially quality arc. that shyt went backwards hard.

demon's slayer's ending wasn't rushed - a lot of people just didn't want to accept what the stakes were in that last arc. there are no tight character resolutions or story defining revelations. people die. that's it for them. folks couldn't hold that lol

promised neverland definitely got that wrapitup.gif finish, but its best that it did looking back. black clover is in quadruple overtime and its just painfully obvious its being stretch beyond what could've possibly made sense.

Dark Gathering Vol 11

So they are really lucky that Yayoi is able to contain the curse from spreading beyond the neck. It kind of leads Eiko to save Kei. I do like her determination is. More and more as she gets more experience with dealing with occult her determination to be there with Kei is great.

On the other hand the backstory of the ghost with the red dress is like what the bloody fukk :francis:

So girl was cheating on him for god knows how long and carries another mans child. But what makes it even worse the daughter ends up playing along with it. THEN 30 YEARS LATER daughter is getting married and straight up tells him I want my real father. She flat out tells her dad I knew all along. So legit this dude was getting cucked and fukked over for 30 years. Dude has been living a life where people were toying with him.

Him going crazy and murdering everyone at the wedding is like man I don't blame him, but obviously its fukked up. The worst part is the you look better in a red dress is to his daughter not his wife. Altho at some point he could have said that to her too. Beyond that Eiko coming up clutch and now they secured the 2nd spot.

When they are at the shrine, Yayoi's comment that the energt surrrounding Kei is similiar to a god. This could be foreshadowing and kind of hint about things that could be happening soon. In the mean time you see these 2 figures that seem at the very least aim to supporting Yayoi and company. The enemy of my enemy is my ally seems to be at play as they want the lolicon god to be gone. Also the older fellow seems more supportive of the party.

The way they conquered with the 3rd spot purely due to the help of the shikigami. This def makes things easier since Kei won't be as defenseless.

The hole in the sky looking back on it feels like it has to do with that "nanny" ghost when she captures the souls/spirits of people in those baby dolls. Eiko got trapped and they were very very lucky to escape before she was a goner. So they try to use Kei as bait and have the H castle ghost be able to do it. The key was for Kei be able to wrap the sash around the nanny ghost. But that plan fails and Kei gets sucked into a doll too :damn:

But it seems the condition of Key being in danger was more so due to the fact him becoming a doll wouldn't put his life in danger. But after becoming a doll and right before he gets sacrificed is what triggers it. Unfortunately Yayoi is put in a terrible spot, but the Shikigami does come out. Damage seems to go back to Kei, but it seems Eiko's infinite substitutes has saved him or their was a leftover. But the is def a big con when the Shikigami comes out. But they look very very strong.

Yayoi def has things to consider going forward to the plan. And it doesn't seem the squad is in the safe quite yet.

Tenmaku Cinema Ch. 13

Tenmaku has been in the background in a bit but the dynamic between him and Hajime is great. Not mention its nice to get a lil more focus on his past as well. They have great chemistry, Tenamku knows how to push Hajime's button to motivate him in the RIGHT way.

New MMA manga that I read. Really like the foundation in the first 4 chapters. MC has the foundation for the sport, but you def feel like he has ton of room to grow. I really like his relationship with his grandpa with regards when he trained with him. Side cast feels super grounded, but not cartoony in a bad way like Do Retry has turned itself into.

Ichinose Family Deadly Sin Ch. 32 - Bruh this family is beyond chaos. Literally each of them have their frustrations, which is normal. But they are more then willing to push the blame. The dream was truly a way to cope this toxic family environment.

Blue Kill Ch. 12 - So the game here feels like something straight out of some Blue Lock episode. Kinda weird chapter since the motivations of the athlete is kinda random tbh.

@tripleaamin I keep seeing you raving about it and you have good taste in series 9/10 so give me a quick summary of Dark Gathering's premise. I'll see if it's worth throwing on my read list.
Lets see.

You have the Male MC Kei who was cursed 2 years ago from the start of the manga, which lead to him being a shut in. Fast forward to present timeline he is slowly recovering mentally and trying to back on track. This leads him to be the tutor of his Childhood friend's cousin Yayoi.

While you have Kei that due to his curse seems to attract ghosts, for Yayoi is the opposite they are scared of her. Yayoi lost his mom and she earns to find the spirit that took his mom in the accident she was in before Eiko's family took him in.

Yaoi drags the 2 of them to these various and even dangerous haunted spots so where Yayoi can get questions. She needs Kei because she can't make any progress on these haunting spots without him.

The manga as far as horror goes starts a lil slow, but imo that's good cause it eases you into it. Still gives a solid creepy vibe at the start. It focuses on the 3 leads builds them up and develops them along with the relationship with each other so when the real horror starts coming the execution delivers imo. Since you actually care about the cast. It makes this series appeal even for those that normally don't read/horror like me.

Art is really really good. This one part where the current running anime will have a tough time following up on. Lore is interesting, but for 95% of it, it is pretty easy to follow surprisingly. I feel like the first volume (equivalently the first 3 episodes of the anime) should give you a strong indication if this series is the type for you.

So this sounds pretty interesting actually, I like the idea of the slow build because it gives you a reason to be invested when their lives are in danger.

Caught up with Dark Gathering. Most of thoughts are the same as above. It does a great at both appealing to horror and non horror anime. There is a good amount of lore, mystery and thriller elements to get you invested in if you aren't a fan of horror.

Man Dark Gathering really hitting home with these ghost backstories :mjcry:

Every since she was a kid what feels like this curse took all they people she loved away from her one by one by one. The fact it took so long for her to be become broken is amazing. It seems that hole in the sky seems like the main cause and her play was to uses these dolls to seek revenge? We got a case similar to the teacher that you could understand and empathize with her. But without a doubt the actions are still egregious.

Post battle Yayoi gets help from Tama-chan and he helps her get Eiko and Kei back into their bodies. Altho Tama trying to be greedy and teach Yayoi a lesson was maybe not the best ideal. Despite being a kid she is prodigy and a very level headed one at that. Tho she doesn't like being taken advantage. Here we get a transition to the final location. Eiko and Kei have another moment where we see Eiko's crazy side once again. The idea of trapping a ghost in the future in principle sounds like a good idea. Takes a crazy one like Eiko to think of some of these idea.

On the way to the final sport they hear I cry of save him and end up breaking a seal of what could be a god or at least what is said as a malevolent god. It seems it infiltrated and killed the monks. Also we see what is the high priest coming to help seal it and they run into trouble. As usual Yayoi is quick on her feet to figure out that the malevolent god has already made its move. Curious to see how they get out of this one :lupe:
