Games are so easy nowadays, which is fine in some cases, but Super Mario 3D world had me dead with that invincibility suit :dead:

I lose at the level 5 times and see a magical leaf box. I get the powerup and all of a sudden nothing can kill me. I'm like :wtf: did I just stumble upon some sort of secret. Then it happened again on another level :dead:

Breh I still learn new vocabulary/sayings from RPGs. Some shyt in Persona 4 Golden had me like :ohhh:
I replayed Planescape Torment a few years ago and I was shocked at how much we used to read in video games back in the day. That game was a fukking novel, for real. I miss those days. Reading lets you imagine more (damn I sound :old:)

Surprisingly dope thread.

I've talked about this before on here in a similar thread about sports and how there is this there are no losers bullshyt. My kids are gonna learn to win and then do the shimmy like Ali ".

My 5 yeAr old beat super Mario bros and super luigi U by himself. He's hLf way through donkey kong tropical freeze which is hard as fukk. When the wife's not around I let him play ghosts and metal gear and he's pretty damn good . I'm teaching them to be competitive and not be a little bytches. He would always start crying at first saying he couldnt beat it and you got damn right all I said was "I'm not beating it for you keep playing and practice. He hated me at first but the look of joy and satisfaction when he conquered that shyt was :to:

My 3 year old can beat most levels on Mario as we'll.

I don't think I care how kid games these days since I now I don't give a shyt to be hardcore anymore. Even with games being easier now :shaq2: Back then I was striving to 100% games and played on the hardest difficulty on some hard body shyt. I think the circumstances of being a latch key kid was what motivated me. Now, I'm picky on the games I play and I only play easy or normal difficulty, beat them and then move on to the next unless the multiplayer is fun.

Only genre I try to stay strong in is fighters (just Tekken tho).

There is no incentive to be good at a game. When i was gaming on the GENESIS back in the 90 there weren't unlimited lives, unlimited continues, or memory cards. Every time i played sonic i had to start from the first zone.
Fightin robotnik with no rings :damn:

:dwillhuh: da fukk breh?

your gaming skills must be godly :blessed:
