Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
You think? I know it can strengthen the knee but could it also be to much pressure on it at times? I am just asking, I don't know for sure and I know squats are usually a good thing but can it have any negative effects on the knee's?

Nah, these two are the last basketball players to tear their ACLs

Those aren't the legs of heavy squatters, and the whole "bigger/stronger" thing just doesn't apply.

Ok, good point. I wonder if there is a link or just we hear about it more these days?

I think it's sneakers and too much time playing, the second kid is in High school, he plays a year round schedule and was athletic as fukk -

As soon as his HS season is over he plays in non-stop tournaments throughout the spring and summer, there's virtually no time off for these HS kids to rest up. It's happening more frequently now, kids are tearing their ACLs in HS.

You have to eat better sweetie. Your people have high blood pressure problems already , so ribs and fried chicken every day is not going to help. Get one of your baby mothers to "hook you up" with some greens once in a while. I don't agree with your career choice, but if you're going to do something don't you want to be the best at it? How are you going to successfully run from the police if your malnourished legs are too weak to juke and cut through alleys and hurdle crackheads?

Today's athlete is way bigger and stronger than they were even 15 years ago. The amount of power the human body generates is too much for the average bone structure and ligament network. I'm surprised a guy like Marshawn Lynch doesn't burst into flames.

So many ACL injuries these days...but back in the day it was a career ender...now u have guys coming back stronger then ever due to advancements in PT. U even have guys coming off 2 of them (RG3/Bradford...tons of guys) who are still competing. At the end of the day its not the ACL that turns out to be the problem...that thing is heeled...its the atrophy and dysfunction that sets in from time off from competiting at that level..and then that instability and trying to play at that level can cause reinjury...its crazy how just spending a few weeks off bearing weight can completely fukk you up

its just such a fine line...if u dont train game like..ure not going to be as sharp...but the more u train game like, the higher risk of injury.
