i'm too lazy to dig into it but i'm sure as far as football/basketball players and their knee injuries, muscle imbalances due to too many leg isolation exercises and not enough compound lifts plays a role
Naw, its people don't drink milk no more
I'm 28 and I have not been consistently athletically active since the 9th grade when I learned how to sell dopeYou hooped in high school, and maybe afterwards on a high level.....? Also, are you over the age of 30?
I think I had on those Nike Flights they re released last year. What kind of sneakers?![]()
i agree... it's basically a combination of putting too much stress on your bodyI agree with Malta, it's similar to pitchers in baseball where you have high schoolers blowing their elbows out in every city and getting tommy john before they hit 18. too much volume and overexertion and not enough rest.
decades ago, players would take time off and just relax, but nowadays with AAU and club ball, shyt is damn near 365 if you're any good.
i'm too lazy to dig into it but i'm sure as far as football/basketball players and their knee injuries, muscle imbalances due to too many leg isolation exercises and not enough compound lifts plays a role but i'm not even trying to dig through any scientific studies/journals to support that so...![]()
Workouts are more area specific. Too much stress may be being put on certain areas.
Diets are very strict for many athletes. Sometimes the "bad" foods are helpful.
I never see these Paul Pierce out of shape looking dudes tearing stuff. Linemen do, buy usually only when their legs bend the wrong way.

To much emphasis on squats etc, I am sure it has some negative impact! the Knee is taking so much pressure these days, dude's are squatting big weight then going out and jump cutting....I know sometimes it can't be helped but some of these injuries can be I believe.
