Edison basically invented modern research and development plus bought out or crushed all his competitors. He legit had teams of scientists holed up inventing or improving his shyt collaboratively. That was unheard of at the time.
Tesla was a schizophrenic genius who wasn't driven by success in the form of money. He probably wouldn't know what to do with all that. It'd be foreign to him like p*ssy.

from what Im learning...I guess Edison was a great business man and he bought Tesla ideas and patents...because Tesla was a horrible business man and simply a pure inventor..he wasn't in the game for money or fame...he really cared about his craft

wrong. Edison had the UNLIMITED backing of JP Morgan who sued the shyt out of Tesla's backers. The lawsuits were pointless and impossible to win but the amount of them and the sheer pressure bankrupted both tesla and his millionaire backers as was the plan of JP Morgan.

After Edison fukked up, Morgan bought him out too and left his ass alone. Morgan was a ruthless muthafukka.
