You live in the south? Not really, Any job that has an office space is capable of WFH. I work at a credit union and we got approved for permanent WFH in 2022.
Yes most definitely! I have one possible connection with the HQ being in Pennsylvania and me being in SC.
Entertainment world got me fukked up, I been trying to build off my merit and my word/work thinking I could land something 6fig just off my work put in. Not necessarily credentials. Just off the strength.
I mean I know who I am and what I’m capable of. Just be needing them chances.
Guess I gotta give myself a fair shot as well.
My goal was never and still is not to be working for someone else however.
Same here, and I still be late
As we all know, once you step outside of your home all bets are off. Now you are surrounded by random npc mother fukkers who are unpredictable and potentially dangerous to your career or even your life...
I start mine at 6:50 am so they think I’m getting that extra hour a day ot.I usually start the morning by heading to the can. But I make sure to start my computer and get online first so people can see that I'm active on Teams. Then I go sit on the toilet for 30 minutes
YepYou live in the south?
We go into the office once a month for a meeting, and we all wear our masks to let them know we ain't interested in returning to the office. Once we leave out the front door the masks come offWe're not at the height of the pandemic y'all, you can still go outside if you WFH
I gotta get out my head man lol shyt be feeling personal as fukk when you confident. I guess mine is irrational but shyt I know what I can do and who I am so I’m confident in what I bring to the table.
I was joking. But If I was in vid meetings I wouldn't want to be in a cafe, park, gym, bodega, library, etc unless we are on very casual grounds. Popping into a meeting with people playing frisbee in the background...Well as far as being harmful to my career, there's an app that's a noise canceler for video calls.
But if I'm that concerned about it, I would just go to my car and take the meeting there.
There's been times that I was on the highway and when it came time for my meeting, I just ducked off into a parking lot and jumped on the call.
That's natural, I used to not believe in the positive energy talk but ever since I adopted that mindset things have been great. I was positive that we were going to be able to WFH on a permanent basis, and then one day the top brass called a zoom meeting and gave us the great news.I gotta get out my head man lol shyt be feeling personal as fukk when you confident. I guess mine is irrational but shyt I know what I can do and who I am so I’m confident in what I bring to the table.
When it goes left as it has the last few months man it get dark.
Well now it's possible to WFH and go places.True. There was a span during the height of COVID where I was working from home for 8 straight months. It became unbearable after awhile, mainly because I literally couldn't go ANYWHERE.
Most of the video conferencing apps have the ability tot throw on custom backgrounds so nothing behind you actually shows up. I've taken meetings in the top deck of a cruise ship in the middle of a deck party.I was joking. But If I was in vid meetings I wouldn't want to be in a cafe, park, gym, bodega, library, etc unless we are on very casual grounds. Actually sounds kinda dope and I may have defeated my own argument.
What if someone drop kicks you? Most of the video conferencing apps have the ability tot throw on custom backgrounds so nothing behind you actually shows up. I've taken meetings in the top deck of a cruise ship in the middle of a deck party.
