skype settings-> tools-> options ->status-> “show me as inactive” change this to 360 which the max number of minutes and change the option under that to 360 minutes as well. Then go to your laptops power and sleep options. Change it so when plugged in your laptop never sleeps, also change it so when plugged in your laptop screen never turn off. then plug in the charging cable. Check these options periodically as it can default back the next
day. Now sit back and enjoy the Z’s :blessed:

:whoo:you just changed the game for me breh. I immediately updated my Skype settings with this.

I wake up, around 8:30. Bush my teeth wash my face. Take a shyt. Put on some shorts and socks. Slide back in bed. Put my laptop on the night stand and grab my EarPods. Remote in to my office computer. Listen to podcast or music. Open emails and make my calls whenever I feel like it. I at least send off one completed report by the end of the day to my boss. Then I close that bytch up and call it a day. I have to be in the office at max once a week. But I go twice just to show face. I’m a new hire so I’m safe for about a year.

This!! But i know I'm safe in government work and got so many old farts retiring :russ:, they potentially need my ass...:skip:

I built a reputation for myself of being a hard worker, so when I don’t respond to messages or emails timely, they all just default to I’m incredibly busy. Meanwhile I’m chillin in bed scrolling through pornhub :pachaha:

So since the lockdown, most of our office people have been working from home and today one of them dropped in at work which we got us talking and I’m not gonna lie, shyt had me heated.

He starts work at 9am, but gets out of bed at around 8:30am, has a quick breakfast before working. Meanwhile since my commute is 1 and a half hours, I get up at 5:45am, shower, breakfast and leave the house in the dark rainy weather :stopitslime:

On top of all this, this shyt is like a pay rise for these folks cos I spend thousands a year on public transportation, food at work, clothes etc, whilst they pretty much save all their money on that shyt whilst earning the same money. This is some bullshyt :mjcry:

Not gonna lie, shyt has me looking at other career options where I can also wfh cos these nikkas really have it made.
I been working from home for a total of 9.5 years now. I had worked in an office 5 minutes from where I lived and would still be late. Then working from home though where I wake up 5 minutes before I'm supposed to start. We don't have a clock in or nothing so there's plenty of mornings I say fukk it and sleep in. Being able to take a midday nap or just hit the gym cause ain't nobody around to clock how long I'm gone from lunch. Being able to blast music or watch TV or during the NBA bubble watch whatever game was on. Throwing on the PS4 and talking with friends while working. If you got a girl she can stay over and kick it if you want to and easy to get some sex during the day. You dead on about it being a pay raise cause I ain't bought a new suit in like five years. Don't have to worry about a haircut if I choose not to. All that time saved on avoiding having to go to work.

Bad sides are that it does get lonely. Nothing beats being able to go to a coworkers office and just chop it up for a bit to relax. It makes it much harder when it comes time for promotions as that saying out of sight out of mind comes in to play. That feeling of never leaving work creeps in since you see all your work shyt all day long. Plus since you work from home people know you're right by a computer and will hit you up for help at all hours. Mentally it's hard to feel part of the team and leaves you disconnected and more frustrated. It's harder to get in people's asses since they can dodge emails and phone calls but can't dodge you walking to their office.

I've gotten better but there was a time where I would take 2-3 hour naps during the day. I turned my office phone up loud as fukk so if somebody called I'd hear it and go running to the office so it seemed like I was at my desk all day lol. Now all of our communication is through Teams so I just put it on my phone and will leave the house for hours at a time. I've been on dates during the day time and just answered questions on my phone and people assuming I'm such a hard worker.

I’m gonna be working like this until we have a vaccine :blessed:

Then when we return, I move into a brand new building with an office :blessed:

By the time this is all over, I’m about to have a months worth of paid vacation time burning a hole in my pocket

What about teams?

They made me a guardian or admin for teams and the new office, you just reminded me I have to watch all the training videos I’ve been skipping :mjlol:

but it’s not possible to change it for Teams. By any chance do you have permissions to install software on laptop? If so, just get this

it just moves your mouse for you randomly so you never show as inactive

First of all what company are y'all working for and second of all is there an afternoon shift available so I can work there too? :mjcry: Cuz Lord knows my ass don't even wake up until 11am, let alone even try to attempt waking up at no 9 am.

It's the greatest thing of all time.

My job starts at 7:00. I usually roll out of bed around 7:15, log on and masturbate till 8. Shower and groom from 8 - 8:30. Smoke weed, check stocks and emails and surf the coli from 8:30-10. Start working around 10. Take a break at 11. Lunch at 12. Do some more work from 1-2. By 2:00, anything I was going to get done that day better have gotten done because I'm unofficially off the clock by 2. I just play League of Legends and drink tequila and smoke weed till 4, then shut my laptop screen.

I love my job.

I aint gonna even lie im hating like a mf, as a manager i have to be in this bihh to cooordinate everybody else smh

I call random meetings sometimes to shake folk up at home, they starting to get wise to it tho lol

Can't imagine you calling a random meeting and seeing an employee doing something like this when the video pops up on the screen. :dame: Better send an email or something first to warn folks. :russ:

Been working from home for months now. While it's better because of time and money saved commuting ... I find I work MORE from home.

My job is on calls with clients all day, so it makes no difference. I will be pissed the day they call me back to the office as I will not be able to check my stocks as much. Oh, AND the fact that NONE OF US NEED TO BE IN THE OFFICE TO DO OUR DAMN JOB!!!!!

This is the real cheat code. If you have a reputation of a hard worker, no one ever questions you. My supervisor and manger always call me rockstar. Now working from home go grocery shopping randomly anytime I want or jump on the PS4 for a while
