I dunno what state u in, but if u got an up to date resume, I can refer u. PM me for more details.

Y'all need any part time / maybe full time remote nurses or biz analyst

My guy you don’t have friends, side piece or even work buddies? Do you work out?:mindblown:

I be dammed to want to go back for the social aspect.

breh it’s gonna take alot to get people to come back. They literally better have a floor in the office where you can get a massage and your dikk sucked.

but with all this time away from the office there’s NO reason to be washed unless you are just lazy and don’t give a fukk anymore. And I get that some brehs have their couch, TV, food and don’t need much else. Waking up, grooming and getting dressed for the office is a cumbersome inconvenient for a lot of people.

But 2 years into it, dudes gotta have a formula down. The actual work needs to be boiled down to a science so you maximize your time and minimize stress. Rona has allowed me to build a lil roster, keep them at arms length and I have enough of a reachable social circle that I can replenish the roster if one of them starts to act.

Use the hysteria over this to be a “logical” buffer between you and normal social settings. No dates, bars, restaurants because who knows who has Rona and can infect you. Gaslight these motherfukkas to a point where you just trying to smash and keep it moving.

Then use your time to do you. Take your own trips and not have to worry about another person who may or may not spoil the experience. I’ve been taking lil trips this whole time. Many times I don’t even take time off so they days/hours are stacked up. And work still gets done.

There are companies (like the one I'm at now) who have no plans to ever be back in person again. They are killing offices as soon as lease renewals come due. Employees based out of each of those offices are then officially designated remote.

There are benefits to companies going 100% remote. That lease money is going to go towards 'Work from Home' equipment reimbursements, home gas and heating bills, internet and phone (all tax write offs of course), shared workspaces, and to travel so teams can organize quarterly in different states at shared office spaces. They are going to save a lot of money not having to provide California specific HMO too. As they are probably going to keep only a Midwest office open and bounce from CA.

There are drawbacks too (just look at nikkas in this thread lol). I know for sure that Google, Apple and other companies putting the pressure on definitely have the internal numbers to back their intentions to move back in office. But other companies like mine and Facebook don't think the small loss of productivity and collaboration is worth the headaches of forcing people back.

Employees should have a pretty good idea of where their company stands by now. Whenever I read the "I bought a house in the South but my company is making me move back to NY" stories I just shake my head in disbelief. My mortgage comapny made me provide a letter saying I never had to go back.
Google as let people WFH if they want but they also have the office open as well. Depending upon the role I can see most silicon valley and FAANG companies following suit.
