Watching the ice storm at 9 AM from the comfort of a temperature controlled home office. Wearing sweats, a tee shirt, slippers and an Africa medallion...priceless.
:russ:Shyt, I thought I was feeling great knowing I wasn’t going to work in the rain and dealing with all that comes with that.

Followed by browsing this site for an hour

Followed by ending up in JBO

Followed by a robust nut and tomorrow the cycle continues

I returned to the office full time last week after a year and a half of WFH. It's depressing to say the least but my job is paying for me to receive a certification that could almost double my salary in about two years. That's life changing for me so I'll have hold this L for now.

I had a flat tire the first day back. I've been late almost every day lol. Eating garbage again. shyts for the birds but I'm going to make them pay for this.

Brehs....Life is good :ohlawd:

Half way through my second week WFH, I'm working more on my side hustles than my actual work :russ:

I'm making more money than I ever made from a job ever and I'm doing the least amount of work I have ever done:mjlol: I'm doing the most basic 1st line shyt, literally the easiest gig I have had and it's paying me the most :mindblown:

Stacking never been so easy :blessed: It's going to be a good summer :mjlit:

Yup. WFH is worth easily $20k worth of salary for me.

Travel, Food money plus less time for my side hustles would mean losing this much literally to me.

As stated before we've been 1 week in the office, 2 weeks at home since August. However, we've been at home since the middle of December and won't do our week in the office until February 1st..

The entire month of January at home with no commuting whatsoever.

Being in the midwest, if I had the option of picking a single calendar month to not commute to work, it would be January....without question.

any legit reason for the 1 week in office? is the entire team in at the same time or a rotation?

1. To justify the leasing of the building

2. Different rotations for different departments. Our team is on the same rotation.

Sorry if I'm the minority but I do miss the social interaction from being in the office. I do like working from home but it's becoming very stale and I do missed being out of the house for a extended period of time throughout the day :yeshrug:. Once this COVID shyt is over, I'm going to ask for a hybrid schedule so that I can have some variety throughout the work week.

Update: The return didn't go so well. People were not having it. Especially during this surge. But anyway, I just negotiated a permanent hybrid schedule. In the office every other week. That's perfect!

So I believe I explained this before but we returned to the office, that being said I work half days at home, the other half in the office (my boss and team leader work in other states, so how would they ever know LOL) been doing it for a year and my work hasn't suffered at all. Covid surge last month had us WFH if able until next week, THEN they sent out another email Wednesday saying they are postponing it until March now. Need to order that 100 side hustles book to read.
