Yeah check it out, don't expect too much out of it cept some cool flying scenes tho, it gets weird half way thru.

Since I am a young dude and the OG superman movies were way before my time, I was never really that into them. I always preferred seeing Superman in animated films and shows. DC releases really dope animated movies of Superman and Batman, they are not childish and kiddy at all - in fact it is very adult and you won't feel like you have to dumb yourself down watching them. Maybe you can check those out.

I was never really into comics as a kid (or reading for that matter) so I'm kind of rediscovering all the superheroes with all these movies coming out. I still haven't seen Thor all the way through yet. I fell asleep stoned watching it near the beginning even though it was already amazing. Now that I have this 83 inch TV though. Bout to watch that shyt after finals tomorrow

Looks good from the trailer. I know Snyder won't disappoint with the visuals but I hope Snyder didn't let Goyer's script be law because we all know how corny he can be at times. Especially when he has total control with no middle man to filter his b/s.

As far as I'm concerned, Superman has never been done properly in live action before (it looks like this film might change that though). The OG movies were based on an older version of the character and were constrained by the limitations of VFX at the time. Smallville had high points (most of them the Luthors and NOT clark) but was mostly him whining & simping for 10 years and was constrained by their budget. Superman Returns was just a bad fukking idea from the start. I like the animated series and movies though.

Superman Returns is trash, but what's crazy is that it was the BEST idea for a Superman movie out of all the fukking crazy ideas WB was throwing around. They were REALLY about to put a Nick Cage superman movie theaters -

But yeah Returns wasn't good, a lot of people were at first cuz of the novelty that a Superman film is made. The story was all over the place, stiff acting, bad writing, etc.

I was one of the fools who went to the midnight release and it almost turned into a riot. There were people throwing popcorn at the screen. It was HORRENDOUS! Superman's son pushed over that piano and people were booing. You know its bad when the guy who wore the Superman cape to the movies got up and yelled..."IT SUCKED!!!" LOL:Pacquiaoing: And I get visibly angry when people even mention that Dragonball Evolution or The Last Air Bender.....

That's why Nolan is the producer on this shyt. His say is law. I remember reading somewhere that he wasn't impressed how shyt was turning out, but from the looks of the trailer it got back on the right track.

And yeah I c/s everything you said ... the OG movies were before my time, so I am not as attached to them as a lot of people are. Smallville was a fun watch but the highlights throughout the show was mos def Luthors (smh it took him 10 seasons to fly ) Plus the grandiose of the character was more efficiently captured in animated films/series and comics imo ... but the trailer for this looks good, I will mos def watch.
