North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
I mean if reviews are really shaking you up like that, just remember Superman Returns has 75% on Metacritic. And all the jokes about there being no action aside, that means critics like Superman more when he quietly stalks his boring ex-girlfriend and his b*stard son

The fact that this is gonna actually be :cape: acting like :cape: means 1. It'll be better, and 2. Audiences will justify a sequel.

Transformers got a 57% and this was in 2007 before I started checking for RT ratings. I saw it twice in one week. It got a 57% and that was with a campy script.

I'm going to compare this movie to The Avengers. I don't see how Avengers got a 92% and I'm a Marvel stan. The final battle and action sequences was action blockbuster generic like a motherfukker.:stopitslime:

Agreed. Their enemies weren't really a threat or imposing at all at the end. Meh

Japan, but from the 989
I like Superman Movies...so as long as this movie is better than Superman Returns, I could care less what the fakkit reviewers have to say. Yes, I want to see some mindless flying violence. Not some Superfag floating outside of the window while his son grows up without him. I don't expect this to be better than the Avengers (because the Avengers had one crazy build up) but I expect it to be better than Green Lantern. lol

Edit:
I'm checking out the reviews on rotten tomato and I'm not surprised. Those punk ass reviewers do the same thing every time to a superhero movie...They judge it like it's a thriller or love story instead of judging it as a super hero movie. "The Final action scene is too long?" LOL Shut up bytch. Like I'm going to take the advice from an NPR critic about a Super hero movie!??! I'm still going to see it.

Hawkeye who weapons are from the 16 century was killing aliens. Yet government officials thought it was a good idea to send a nuke. :snoop:

Yeah guys the earth was in real trouble at that point.

I dunno how many times I gotta say this.

The aliens in Avengers were never meant to be a threat. They were a light jab. Why else do you think Thanos was smiling at the end of the movie when the head alien says "they fukked us up"? He was testing the Avengers, that's it.

No. I'm not buying that. Nice attempt at saving them though

:wtf:

I'm convinced half of you either got up to take a piss during the movie, or just zoned out on your cell phone.

When the head alien tells Loki the plan at the beginning of the movie he says "you'd better not fail, he (Thanos) doesn't accept failure".

Yet when Loki and the aliens fail, Thanos smiles.

Why do you think that is? Give me a logical reason why the guy that orchestrated the plan would be happy it failed, other than he expected it to.

The nuke was some movie shyt. That's obvious. It was just a deus ex machina to destroy the alien ship.

So if someone is complaining about that, I understand.

But people been asking "why were the aliens weak, why did they lose so easy?" since the movie dropped, and it was explained during the movie. shyt is :why: at this point.

He's The Mad Titan. I doubt he intended that to happen. I doubt he was even paying much attention to it all until his people failed. If that was Thanos's plan, it was very lame. "Test them?" Lol wut. He's smiling because the whole thing just got a whole lot more interesting. shyt, I'd say he's simply just smiling from the irony in the whole "to court death" line, and nothing deeper than that. I don't think he'd have some lame ass plot out together like that. He was probably just using Loki to take over the planet and shyt didn't go how it planned. I don't see him focusing on something as tiny in the grand scheme of things as a rag tag upstart hero team on Earth. Thanos is bigger than that.
