[Ain't That Something]

Uh, no they aren't giving it good reviews. They're saying it was a mediocre film, and they're right. A movie filled with mindless action and destruction that just happens to involve a man wearing the superman suit isn't enough to make a good superman film. The cast was good, and the movie had real potential, but it squandered most of it by giving up originality (and the quality of many of its action scenes) for generic action movie conventions.

Notice that the critics' rating and the public rating on RT are pretty much the same. The non-critic public feels mostly the same about the movie. People are tired of generic blockbusters.

Olympus Has Fallen got a 57% and I thought it was dope. The A Team got bad ratings and I liked it.


I think RT is a gift and a curse. It's a gift because it gives you a good idea of how a flick is and will reinforce your excitement for a movie or create a new. It's a curse because it can kill your excitement. It can go viral as well which will make a movie seem worse than what it really is.

why are u idiots keeping tabs on what reviews are saying either dont see the movie or go see it simple as that.

going to a movie especially opening weekend is a risk, if you have any doubts wait to some people you personally know that you normally agree with their movie taste sees it and then see what they say before going

i bought my tickets a week ago, nothing is keeping me from going to see it

We can't be going there on a packed night, need stress free theatre with a minimum people populating the theater.

I mean if reviews are really shaking you up like that, just remember Superman Returns has 75% on Metacritic. And all the jokes about there being no action aside, that means critics like Superman more when he quietly stalks his boring ex-girlfriend and his b*stard son

The fact that this is gonna actually be acting like means 1. It'll be better, and 2. Audiences will justify a sequel.
