That would make no sense for A-listers. Movies will always take the priority. The tv shows will be hampered because they can't use certain characters or use certain stories or else it will interfere with a movie coming out the following year or two. Plus the cost. What if you had a Nightwing series and Joker showed up in Bludhaven. You don't think Batman is not going to go to Bludhaven to take on his greatest and most dangerous enemy?! You think CW will be able to afford for Ben Affleck to film a few scenes. Plus they would have to adjust filming based on the actors schedule which could further dampen the tv shows.

I don't understand this confusing the public bs

Batman was a TV show played by a live actor, then came out with a live action movie with a different actor and a significantly different tone....nobody got confused

Spiderman is rebooted 3 times in a decade live action, possibly more in cartoons. Nobody is confused.

This is america. most of the tv shows we grew up on had little to no continuity. You turned on the tube for 30 minutes of hijinks with your favorite characters knowing that next week these events will never be referenced again 90 % of the time. Two part episode stories were a big deal.:mjlol: It's what got me into anime as a kid really.

bruh earlier in the thread hit the nail on the head. This is some shyt ppl on the internet bytch about that sounds logical, but isn't that deep in practical terms.

DC fukked up a long time ago. They actually tried to explain the multiverse thing in Flash when they were going to different Earth's and kind of hinted at the DCEU one. Grant Gustin is the Flash though. He embodies that shyt and has earned the name Barry Allen. I was watching JL again this weekend and Ezra Miller's goofball ass galloping/running pissed me off even more. Its like he had polio tripping over everything in the movie.
Ugh no way.

I agree he's came into his own on that show's version of the Flash. But never have I seen someone with such a cool superpower be so swagless. His take on the flash is dragged down by CW's constant need for drama. Dude is no fun.

The only thing about erza is he better at capturing how fun it would be to have those powers, he's trash everywhere else.

I feel like the flash tv show already tackled all the dope storylines and plots that a Flash movie at this point will automatically be meh because we seen it done better on the tv show

they shot themselves in the foot

Not every super hero needs to be swagged out...he’s exactly who I think of when I think of Barry Allen

I want DC heroes to have less swag than Marvel and be more dramatic, instead of chasing the same hyperactive jokey shyt

This, there's a reason why no big name MCU film cats show up on the TV shows. The biggest was Sam L and that was only because ABC didn't have to pay him movie money. CW has a cheaper budget than ABC so there's no way they can afford anyone from the movies to show up on TV.

It doesn't matter if they watch the shows. If anything, that's the point. All that matters is if they know of its existence.

There are almost certainly large portions of the public who will be like, "A Flash movie? Is that related to the Flash show? Do I need to watch that show to see the movie?"
And there are probably more who don't even know a Flash show exists because they are not tuned into the CW or aren't the CW's target audience.
You thinking there are millions of people who are going to be scratching their head wondering if the Flash in the movie is the Flash on the TV show is silly especially when you consider that the Justice League movie reached a larger audience than the Flash TV show has ever dreamed of reaching.
