Receipts don't lie

The fact that nikkas acting like these ain't made up actors and worlds is what I'm talking about.

"Hold on there are 2 different guys playing flash?" "Wait so this joker is different than this solo joker?
Why not its all made up. Folks acting like it's real and some complex paradox. No its a company putting out content not the real world.

What comic fans accept and what the general public will is two different things
Maybe I’m wrong and they’ll be totally successful in spite of or because of

But like someone said when one portrayal is massively better than the other it’s not a good look
Stop holding the general public's hand
Flash is the number one show on CW at that usually tops off at around 1 million viewers a week
The general public doesn't know that CW Flash exists or care he exists

Naw because it boxes writers/directors into a corner and it forces the general audience to follow the TV shows which should never be the case when you're watching a movie.

"What's happening breh"

"Oh you didn't watch Flash episode 6, season 3 before watching this movie breh?"

It's like if the Netflix Marvel shows were connected to the point where Spider-Man showed up and did some shyt that came up in the next Spider-Man sequel

"Oh you didn't watch Jessica Jones where Peter did....."

If you get confused by the same character having a TV show and an unconnected movie then you might not be too bright.

Coli trying too hard to be cool again.

The average movie and TV viewer, who does not care about comic books and multiverses, will very much be confused. Test audiences complain about this type of thing all the time.

Test audiences are the stupidest people to listen to. You know how many movies failed because the studios decided to listen to the test audience?

Star Trek took two minutes to explain the situation in Trek 09 and kept it moving. Nobody complained about Discovery being not in the NuTrek timeline.

The audience for the CW shows is miniscule compared to the general movie going audience and the cross section of CW show watchers who are also part of test audiences is likely infinitesimal so how many people are really complaining about this?
What the Coli tends to try too hard at is making Internet whining seem like it is equal to what the real world cares about.

this aint nothing new... WB and DC been doing this.. its the reason on Smallvlille he was never superman (well that and the lawsuit) ..
its the reason Batman never was on Smallville, the reason he was a part-timer on JL and JLU..
the reason the Amanda waller and deathstroke and others got killed on Arrow...

the suits don't want it

But we wouldn’t have Grant Gustin as the Flash, who is 1000x better than Ezra Miller

But now they about to do a Supergirl movie too

Well being that they established multiple Earths, it's all a loophole to have multiple characters.

There's no reason to intertwine movies and TV. Marvel tried doing that and every TV show they put out sucked. AOS was a bust and Inhumans was a flop. They tried connecting the Netflix shyt too for what reason? And it never went anywhere.

No reason to connect the two. You can have an animated Flash, TV Flash and movie Flash, it ain't confusing unless you are an idiot

I agree they don’t need to interwine . I just don’t understand why they have so many actors playing the same charcter. I am jumping the gun but its like if the Supergirl movie has another Superman, that would be the third superman. I just feel its overkill.

Will it stop me from watching probably not. Except Arrow I can’t stand that show

Missing the point

And what point is that? There's always been different actors for the same characters in movies and TV since the dawn of comics. The truth is that y'all think the MCU is the standard instead of the anomaly, and even with that, the MCU and Marvel TV distanced themselves with having any true connection.

Lets be honest that DC realized that doing a continued extended universe cannot work when there's no foundation so they are now allowing their directors in doing their thing and leave the DC TV shows be. The only successful universe by DC is the Arrowverse and that is mainly due to it following the MCU format of starting it from one series and gradually building from it. To now it can do anything. But after WB making the Arrowverse ban certain characters and killing off others for the sake of it be on the film, it realized that it does not work and they were hurting their shows in the process, so now they're allowing freedom across the board. This is why we have an expansion of upcoming DC films that aren't related to one another, have a successful animation film studio and continuing being successful in the TV medium. And they justify it by keeping it still within the tradition of DC as containing multiple worlds happening at once.

It doesn't matter if they watch the shows. If anything, that's the point. All that matters is if they know of its existence.

There are almost certainly large portions of the public who will be like, "A Flash movie? Is that related to the Flash show? Do I need to watch that show to see the movie?"
