People need to stop assuming the story they have been told is the full truth. Many times it has come out that the story was exaggerated or it was an outright lie to cause harm to a man, just because the person who told you the story wanted to hurt him.

Also, in domestic violence in particular, I will only jump in if it is happening in front of me and only if she is a member of my family (not a family member, all you get out of me is a 911 call on your behalf). I will not go over to her man's house to start a fight about it after the fact if I was not there during it. Instead what I will do is ask her this simple question:

I've only had to intervene one time with someone I know. And I did my part. However you want to slice it, either she learned her lesson and never went back to dude, or for whatever reason dude made the conscience decision to not fukk around with her anymore.

When you are called for assistance, you do you part well and you only gotta do it once. You don't have to worry about "she was fukking him again next week!" "Oh that just mad him more mad, he beat her ass again 2 days later."

This situation is sad…it makes me think about the times my sister and her ex dude got into altercations and she’ll come to me and my brother. One situation, we caught him at a cell phone store with my sister and it ended with me chasing dude in broad daylight with a blade. Bystanders inside called the cops

I’m usually a level headed but I got sucked into the drama. She even got mad at me one point because I wouldn’t intervene anymore. I learned my lesson because that day could’ve ended tragically and it nearly did for all parties involved. Eventually she smarten up and matured finding a better man but situations like this one on video happens everyday.
