Again, if they were still in the house; this is a easy self-defense case.

We have to understand, castle doctrine is a very analyzed thing. It is usually life and death so they make sure to inspeact these situations to the smallest detail.

It would seem like the trespass and then the fleeing happened in a split second; but, in regards to the law, what we see here would look like a long time in between the trespass, fleeing and last shots fired.

I'm not saying he is doomed but, believe me, he is going to be sweating about his future for a long time because this actually can go bad for him.

prosecutors/DA's are political positions. they have zero appetite to go hard in these kinds of cases. People who think he's cooked are making very technical legal arguments. But the decision to actually charge someone is usually a political one. Look at the responses in this thread. People might have some sympathy for the brothers bc of the position they were put in, but no one is actively hoping he gets put away.
