Above the fray.
you wanna read another view of Malcolm’s backtracking after he left the Nation and made the hajj you should read what the Rev. Albert Cleage had to say about him, which is the view I tend to believe. Especially if we’re to believe that Malcolm was trying to work his way back to the Nation and Elijah was receptive, which was said by numerous people close to them.

I’d expect these ignorant nikkas who don’t really know shyt about the man continue to spread the lie that he became some kinda peace loving integrationist who suddenly discovered our salvation in the electoral process, but that’s just not the truth.
Well, let's hear/read his own words.
Here is the speech he gave at the launch of the OAAU
6/28/64

I believe the full transcript is here

OAAU Founding Rally (June 28, 1964) ~ MALCOLM X

Full passage about politics is here

IV. Politics and Economics.

And the two are almost inseparable, because the politician is depending on some money; yes, that’s what he’s depending on.

Basically, there are two kinds of power that count in America: economic power and political power, with social power being derived from those two. In order for the Afro-Americans to control their destiny, they must be able to control and affect the decisions which control their destiny: economic, political, and social. This can only be done through organization.
The Organization of Afro-American Unity will organize the Afro-American community block by block to make the community aware of its power and its potential; we will start immediately a voter registration drive to make every unregistered voter in the Afro-American community an independent voter.

We won’t organize any black man to be a Democrat or a Republican because both of them have sold us out. Both of them have sold us out; both parties have sold us out. Both parties are racist, and the Democratic Party is more racist than the Republican Party. I can prove it. All you’ve got to do is name everybody who’s running the government in Washington, D.C., right now. He’s a Democrat and he’s from either Georgia, Alabama, Texas, Mississippi, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, from one of those cracker states. And they’ve got more power than any white man in the North has. In fact, the President is from a cracker state. What’s he talking about? Texas is a cracker state, in fact, they’ll hang you quicker in Texas than they will in Mississippi. Don’t you ever think that just because a cracker becomes president he ceases being a cracker. He was a cracker before he became president and he’s a cracker while he’s president. I’m going to tell it like it is. I hope you can take it like it is. We propose to support and organize political clubs, to run independent candidates for office, and to support any Afro-American already in office who answers to and is responsible to the Afro-American community.

We don’t support any black man who is controlled by the white power structure. We will start not only a voter registration drive, but a voter education drive to let our people have an understanding of the science of politics so they will be able to see what part the politician plays in the scheme of things; so they will be able to understand when the politician is doing his job and when he is not doing his job. And any time the politician is not doing his job, we remove him whether he’s white, black, green, blue, yellow or whatever other color they might invent.

Im on the exact same shyt breh..

But unfortunately as time progress, and shyt gets worse, they'll start to hate on your peace.. Then they'll come after you to make you miserable like them..

And that’s the thing breh....

We live in a non-literary society where the white man will straight up put The Truth in books because he knows books are damn near obsolete and the masses won’t spend the time to look the stuff up. The real secret to the secret societies is that THERE ARE NO SECRETS. Everything is revealed. Its just that the people are so dumbed down and so zombified until if it ain’t about making money, they couldn’t give a single fukk.

That’s called a Postmodern Society, where you dumb down a people to the point where Knowledge becomes obsolete. And we’ve seen that especially among Black people, even in the Conscious Community....You would go to these conscious meetings and it’ll be the same people over and over. It seemed like it was a lot different during the late 80’s and 90’s and even some of the 00’s to an extent when the Conscious Community was experiencing its golden age but not much newfound Knowledge has been implemented since as far as the current influx of new people are concerned. The white man has made knowledge obsolete because he kept the general knowledge from the people for so long until when he starts to give it out, the masses won’t even be trained on what it is. Again, if it ain’t about money or job training, most kneegrows don’t really like to read on that type of level unfortunately :francis: This is why I be calling them “dead nikkas” or “the walking dead”.

As a matter of fact, you got like 5 certain types of people concerning Black folks:

  1. Gnosis
  2. Awareness
  3. Robotic
  4. Dreaming
  5. Unconsciousness

Gnosis has Power. The more knowledge you have, the more power you have. The highest of the five states.

People who are aware aren’t so knowledgeable but they are aware of what’s going on. You meet these types of people all the time. They tend to know something about consciousness to a certain degree.

Your robotic movahfukkas are prolly 99% of the movahfukkas that you know or interact with (especially on social media) or pass by on the regular. They constitute a whopping 80% to 90%+ of the masses. These are the most treacherous and dangerous movahfukkas to know. In The Matrix, what did the dude said when the girl was walking by him? He turned around and said “she’s not even real”. You get caught up with these people on the human level, this could be your destruction in itself if you’re not careful.

Dreamers are essentially those who see and identify themselves through ego and materialism and are perpetually in a dream state as they engage in this euphoria. A lot of celebrities particularly non-conscious rappers would fall under this category.

The Unconsciousness represents aspects of the people you deal with on a daily basis. Basically walking husks who are completely unaware of what’s going on around them on a higher level, most especially if it’s outside a religious paradigm that they’ve been reared (trained) in since childhood.

@CoryMack , as you know one our favorite scholars was a founding member of the new organization that Shabazz founded after the split from the NOI. The late John Henrik Clarke.

What the OAAU seemed to be attempting to do, is what the Black Panther Party did a few years later. Bringing together the warrior element with the intellectual element of the community to figure out ways to solve problems. Both Shabazz and Clarke embodied both elements, you pointed out to me that Dr. Clarke was running guns down South to freedom fighters.

Shabazz's speeches, interviews, and the program literature of the OAAU document the approaches that he was willing to take to solve problems. As the last link shows, widespread voter registration AND voter education was one of his approaches.

I really wish mods were required to take some type of aptitude before getting approved. I'm not doing your research for you. Anyone that has studied Malcolm X knows what he turned into after his trip from Mecca and before he was murdered.
I READ HIS AUTOBIOGRAPHY...

NOW POST HIS INTERVIEW
WITH HIS CHANGED THOUGHTS ON WHITE LIBERALS.

You’re right, it’s always best to look at his words, and the words you posted from the man himself run directly counter to the fear based brand of politics alotta so many of you advocate. You all have managed to do the exact opposite of everything he ever advocated with regards to voting, which is why it’s so confusing when y’all try to bring him into the conversation in an attempt to bolster your point.

Malcom X didn't die after that speech and by the time he did die he had evolved from that viewpoint.

I wish you nikkas would stop lying about how he completely changed his ideology after Mecca. All he said was that Islam had the potential to bring all races together and he didn't believe all white people were devils. He never rejected his past analysis of American society.

Brother Malcolm talked about producing independent Black politicians from within our communities, holding them accountable, etc etc. He said we wouldn’t support any Black politicians controlled by whites, but somehow you all think that means he would’ve supported Biden. He himself said that we’ve always done better under the open racist because we knew where we stood, but we’ve always fallen into inaction under liberals, so I have a pretty good idea of where he’d stand.

Lotta these dudes base their political philosophies on their immediate fears, which isn’t how the political game is played. We may disagree on the Brother, but I believe we’d both agree that he wasn’t a coward.

I keep saying BOTHSIDES in TLR and higher learning and they keep calling me an agent... :pachaha: it's fukking insane... Like These white democrats don't believe in the same thing these republicans do??? White Supremacy is Literally two sides of the same coin...

Don’t even bother with the masses. Leave them to their own devices and allow the Spiritual Realm to let them serve their purpose.

This is a very ancient symbol we’ve made long before we went to sleep.

If none of these nikkas are part of that tiny dot in the middle, don’t even worry about them breh.

I know this is where Amerikkka got its E Pluribus Unum shyt from: Out of many, One.

Everything is Everything.

I always try to post Malcolm's full comments when his name comes up in one of these threads.
People can draw their own conclusions. I see the OAAU being proactive in educating and registering Black voters, so that they can make informed political decisions.

That's directly contrasted by what both sider proponents do today. More importantly, it contrasts the NOI line that he was pushing as national spokesman. That's clear to me, as I'm sure it is to others.

after his haaj, that he walked back some of his comments about the Civil Rights Movement, it's leaders, and engagement in politics.
His so-called transformation from hajj, too often, is overstated

run independent candidates for office, and to support any Afro-American already in office who answers to and is responsible to the Afro-American community.
We don’t support any black man who is controlled by the white power structure
This statement is not as different from what Elijah Muhammad taught as people have been conditioned to believe it is.
