one of the greatest movies of all time, about one of the greatest human beings to ever live, portrayed by one of the greatest actors to ever live, who gave a performance of a lifetime. Just think about that for a sec brehs :wow:

I have so much ill will towards Training Day because of this :francis: still a very good performance.
oh its a fantastic performance but he had a much greater one damn near a decade before that got completely looked over...i mean anthony hopkins was great in silence of the lambs but my dude denzel EMBODIED malcolm from mannerisms to voice to everything. Its crazy when u watch that movie then watch a video clip of a malcolm speech and see how perfect denzel was in that role. Plus malcolm x>>>>>>silence of the lambs and i dont even give a fukk that they different genre's of film

Al Pacino beat out Denzel for A Scent for a Woman which is a shame because it was Pacino's first and only Oscar after all the great roles he'd had. Spike spoke on it saying it was politics and he felt the academy was doing Pacino a solid knowing Denzel would get one later in his career.

happens all the damn time. doesnt make it right. but its true. look at all the amazing roles leo put in. and he won for the fukking revenant (good flick, but come on), of all movies.
