AMericans will step in anyway. American made plane, couple of US citizens and these cats have already bungled it to a point where people want some "Westerners" to come clean up the mess

I think the fact that the aircraft is american made and the NTSB is a very reputable agency, is why americans should take over this matter and not so much so because there were 4 american passengers.

It's possible that the oil could be from something else even though it is coincidental. They're now saying that 2 passengers were in possession of those stolen passports. Might just be terrorists after all.

This is what people are speculating, but can't confirm at the moment. Once and if the debris is found, they have to piece it together to find out how the aircraft impacted the water/land. They must also find the FDR and CVR immediately.

Another theory i just thought about was that someone cud've purposely turned off the transponder so that no one knows where they are. So if that was the case, the plane could be anywhere really.

at cruising altitude its gonne be cold as fvck up there. Like -5 or even colder

40-50,000 feet isnt a safe distance to parachute from. Maybe some type of space capsule can do it with a much larger parachute but it has a "head start" by re-entering the Earth's atmosphere

if you somehow make it out of the plane (and arent violently sucked out), you'd have to concentrate on your free fall, like that dude Felix Baumgartner did last year (from 70,000+ feet) and he had on a special suit and helmet

the pressure at that altitude (and severe cold) might likely kill you (hence a pressurized aircraft) just like if you went deep sea diving and your suit failed

that's one of the main reason they don't even bother putting parachutes on commercial planes.
