Today was awful. Got burned by the Ravens in 2 ways because they couldn't cover and couldn't get John Brown 3 more yards after the 3rd quarter. And then I had the Under 41 for Cards/Niners. Caught a bad beat when they scored that meaningless TD at the end.

I had Baltimore too. Fluko is a bum

If someone told me in advance that the Browns would score only 12 points, I'm giddy.

here the bets are laid out simply like if the bookie says;

Cowboys - $1.47
Texans - $2.20

it simply means you get $1.47 back for every dollar you put on the cowboys and $2.20 back for every dollar you put on the Texans..

now how the fukk do these fractions over there work.. I think I've worked out that if it says -147 that means you get $147 back for every $100 you put down.. but what does +147 mean? or how do you write up the underdog in my cowboys n Texans example??

Yea you got it right breh, -145 means you pay 145 to win 100. Opposite with the +145

"Unders" are starting to hit more and more as the season has progressed. At this point, teams have seen enough of their opponents to adjust defensively.

Plus, basic scenarios work in your favor: Average/Not so great qbs on the road against a solid d. This week alone proves that. The oddsmakers may catch on and start dropping the totals though.

Let's take a 3 team parlay where every line is even money to make it simple. If you bet $100 and won, you'd end up with $800. One even money bet will double you money; this parley would double you money again and again and again. It's significantly harder to nail parleys but the payoff is also significantly greater.
