lakers are too easy of a bet.
if they lose to pelicans, they face the winner of kings/warriors. if they win, they face nuggets.
i hate injecting conspiracy into this, but warriors are expected to handle kings, and lakers would expect to handle warriors. they certainly wouldnt expect to handle nuggets. am i overthinking?
there was an article saying why its smarter to face nuggets now. i didnt agree with it. the fact it needed to be drawn up just showed what a lot of people are thinking.
besides all of that, what would u set the true line for in this game? lakers -3.5? but they're +1 to +1.5. why?

Lakers have been horrible this entire year vs both the Kings and Warriors(Kings swept them 4-0, Warriors went 3-1). There seems to be this theory the Lakers would prefer to play OKC as opposed to Denver - they definitely would, they match up way better vs OKC - but IMO there's ZERO chance they throw this game and risk going down to a one game playoff between either the Kings or Warriors on Thursday

If he plays 30-35 mins tonight the Lakers win and win easily. Pelicans really don't have a good option to guard him. The back is very tricky though, I know from personal experience. It can lock up on you at any time and you're just done
