Ah Shumpert-bashing! One of my favorite subjects. Listen, if they can trade him or a pick in the low teens to 20's and there's a player there that can help right away, they should do it. If not, I am curious to see how he will perform under "Phil Fisher". If he's still a derelict move him at the deadline. If you can...
"He had his chance...and blew it...." :pachaha:

Don't decline summer league this year homie....

System and Organizational development is very important in this league, it should be evident after watching these playoffs.

Y'all shytted on Beno, Beno leaves and starts winning playoffs games for the Grizz.

You think if Kahwi was drafted by the Knicks, he'd be half as good as he is now?

You guys think Sam Presti is an idiot? Theres a reason why OKC is going hard after Shump.

Thats why Phil is here, to change the Knicks from Top down.

If Melo leaves, fukk Him ... You don't force your way here (so you can get the extra 20 Mill from Bird rights), make the team give up draft picks & players and than dip when it don't work out.

Sources: Warriors Trading David Lee, Harrison Barnes For Tyson Chandler 'Won't Happen'

The Golden State Warriors would be willing to part with David Lee and Harrison Barnes for Tyson Chandler, according to a report on Wednesday.

However, this potential deal won't happen, according to sources.

The Warriors' only purpose in the potential trade would be shed the two years and nearly $30 million left on Lee's contract. Chandler has one year and less than $15 million remaining on his contract with the New York Knicks.

Yeah if the knicks move Chandler the last thing they need to do is bring back an overpaid player along with a guy whose regressed the last few seasons. Smart move by the knicks to say no.

chandler for d lee and harrison? am i buggin or is that a no brainer :what:

d lee is a better rebounder and finisher around the rim than chandler. and barnes is another young talent that can be developed.

D lee can't play defense for his life and is a extra $15 mill on the books for 1 more year than Chandler.

Barnes has regressed these last two seasons and is the most expendable of GSW's youth. Its a bad deal, even if the knicks don't get a marquee player in 2015, they should have the cap space to do so if neccesary.

I would do the deal in a heartbeat. You will still have space in 2015 for an impact player, and 2016 has Durant free.

Actually that's exactly what you do. It's not Melo's fault Amare broke down, nor is it his fault they wasted the amnesty on a soon to be free agent to get Chandler at a ridiculous cost, nor is it his fault they used picks to acquire Bargnani. I'm 50-50 on Melo leaving - for 2 years I'll be upset he's not here, but for the other 3, I won't be upset he's not eating up 25million of the cap

nah melo takes some blame for forcing the trade when he did
if he came in off season
those assets used to get him woulda got chris paul or someone else
when melo got here we had to start over
injuries and dumb coaching messed up things up as well but still
if he leaves
off with his head

There was zero chance he was waiting until the offseason. Everyone knew a lockout was coming, and he wouldn't be able to get the extra money if he waited. He would have been a Net.

Lock out or no lockout the man was gonna be caked
i understand a man wanting to be sure about his money i guess
but coming after would been a better career move

regardless, we give up a lot for him and to push restart the button when he arrived. anthony carter was getting major minutes in a playoff game for gods sake. last season was unacceptable but to leave after 3 and a half is wack
