I actually agree with this 100%. If this was truly PJax's guy....why are they hesitating on a guaranteed year?? Dolan is why. It adds up with everything Dolan has done in the past. PJax prolly had to pull the "you said you'd back off" card just to get him to finally offer a guaranteed 4th year.

And if it wasn't truly PJax's guy...then please tell me who was a better fit? Knows PJax, knows the triangle, and has expressed a desire to coach now. Nobody else but Steve Kerr. Dolan may not have been the reason Kerr ultimately chose GSW but I don't without a second believe Dolan didn't have a hand in toying with the Knick's offer.
we don't and won't know what's really going on behind scenes until PJax says something. We all know he don't hold his tongue

Would agree with this. I'm sure Dolan wasn't thrilled with the Kerr choice(his relationship with Marv and of course- the media being the enemy) but I doubt money was an issue. Kerr went to the better team and the more stable franchise.

Breh, besideds the fact that it's Isola using the tried and true "bring up Dolan, they'll believe anything negative if he's involved" route, do you feel Steve Kerr deserves the contract he just received from Golden State? Do you think he deserves the reported 5years $30million he wanted from NY?

Literally a couple days ago nikkas were complaining about the prospect of paying Kerr exactly what he just got paid by another team but now we're gonna put a negative spin on him not coming here? Someone help me process this cause I'm at a loss:skip:When we overpay for talent(something you nikkas have been complaining about for over a decade) it's on Dolan. When Phil shows patience and prudence in his first major negotiation in his tenure as Knicks president it's Dolan interfering:skip:If James Dolan is the reason we didn't give Steve Kerr 5years $25million then we have a lot more to worry about because that would mean Phil has no idea what he's doing and one of the worst owners in sports was the voice of reason.

I'm starting to have a feeling the Warriors front office have a hard-on for anything that interests the Knicks. First it was Curry. There wasn't a lot of buzz going that high in the draft until the Knicks showed interest about picking him 9th, then here comes the Warriors swooping in. Then we showed interest in Klay Thompson and Walsh talking about him too much. Here comes the Warriors drafting him high as 11th. There wasn't even talk of him going in the lottery until Walsh started talking.

Now it's Kerr. They even overpaid him because of the reports of him getting 30Mil from NY. These guys are a bunch of dikking fakkits. :pacspit:

so tired of these writers just throwing shyt against the wall because they know fans will eat it up. isola has no access to this team at all yet always seems to have the inside scoop first. the agenda is clear. now im supposed to think dolan cares about the money when this man has thrown money around like its a wishing well? chris smith cost him 1.5 million for fukks sake. he just gave phil jackson 60 million dollars. the narrative is so tired.

Knicks are a joke....thinking a 70 year old Phil Jackson could save this ship...its over
:pachaha: You wanna elaborate on that fakkit?!

Post something with no substance just to sound cool and get daps brehs
We have no place to go but up breh's! #knickstape forever :phil:

If i were running this team, i would sign and trade melo for boogie cousins, maybe include a third team. boogie is the best fit for NY with the impending triangle implementation, plus we know that he aint trying to rot in sacramento for the rest of his career. He was meant for the big stage.

Bayless
Hardaway
Shump
PF
Boogie

:whoo:

try to sign (in no particular order)
bayless, cj miles, ariza, lowry. not a great year for free agency, but goodness, anybody is an upgrade from prigs/felton.
:childplease: Really u wanna trade melo and have bayless as our pg and that knucklehead cousins?:camby:

It worked for them so far but I think they fukked up this time. The west is real tough, and Kerr is going to have to get the Warriors on the same page from day 1 if he wants to make the playoffs again.

I understand the scouting issue, the Knicks are one of 3 teams that invest heavily in scouting (the spurs and thunder are the other two) but Kerr was at best suppose to be spoelstra.
