The stoop with dat dope fanny padding
Yes, but he had beef with management. And on the New Knicks, management is Phil, and Phil is the only voice that matters. So I can see them believing the risk doesn't work.

And we keep it moving.

Absolutely. He'd do a good job in NY but I don't they see him as a fit with Phil, that's my point. It'll just look dumb if they hire somebody that is a fit personality wise with Phil, and a pawn to Phil, but not a great coach. Phil wants a certain type of coach and person and mark is too defiant to fill that spot

Mark Jackson seems cool but the knicks are trying to run the triangle as well as put in a new coach who can/will run around for phil without getting out of pocket. Similar to Spoelstra to Riley. So the knicks are looking for a spoelstra type of coach. Whats crazy is that GSW gave a Spoelstra type coach 5 million for 5 years without having a Riley type of coach to coach behind the scenes.

Fisher seems a little too smart to be a dojer, While Kerr's personality seemed perfect for it. Who the knicks get now Idk. Shaw seems like he would be great for it but no way do the nuggets do the knicks any favors so I doubt they release him.

He's a good coach that got a bad deal in GS, he gets the most out of his players, and he's a NY guy

Say what you will about the situation in GS but his players were fighting for his job til the last second of game 7 when many other teams would have given up
Are you saying this because of the results he had in Golden State or because of his actual ability to coach, and manage players in in-game situations? Everything I've heard in regards to his coaching ability is not great (though they say he is a good coach) and the players were fighting for his job because of his "preacher approach." I don't necessarily see Melo, JR Smith, Shumpert and Jew'mare Stoudemire willing to push as hard for Mark Jackson as Steph Curry & Andre Iguodala

I actually agree with this 100%. If this was truly PJax's guy....why are they hesitating on a guaranteed year?? Dolan is why. It adds up with everything Dolan has done in the past. PJax prolly had to pull the "you said you'd back off" card just to get him to finally offer a guaranteed 4th year.

And if it wasn't truly PJax's guy...then please tell me who was a better fit? Knows PJax, knows the triangle, and has expressed a desire to coach now. Nobody else but Steve Kerr. Dolan may not have been the reason Kerr ultimately chose GSW but I don't without a second believe Dolan didn't have a hand in toying with the Knick's offer.

What did he say?

I'll try to remember, I was too busy :pachaha: when he was going off. Basically he was saying Kerr needs to give Jackson half his guap, cause Phil made him hot in these streets, effectively giving him the chance to get Golden State to bless him. He was disgusted when he saw the news come up on the screen, said that even though Kerr has been a guest on their show, he don't want him back :mjlol:

That's the only think I love about when something bad happens to my Knicks or Mets: the Joe B fallout has classic potential. This wasn't a classic, though, but they're talking Nets now... I got a feeling he's got more venom coming.

We have no place to go but up breh's! #knickstape forever :phil:

If i were running this team, i would sign and trade melo for boogie cousins, maybe include a third team. boogie is the best fit for NY with the impending triangle implementation, plus we know that he aint trying to rot in sacramento for the rest of his career. He was meant for the big stage.

:whoo:

try to sign (in no particular order)
bayless, cj miles, ariza, lowry. not a great year for free agency, but goodness, anybody is an upgrade from prigs/felton.
