Come Draft Day, alot of shyt is going down.

I'm afraid of Laker retrends but I wouldn't be surprised if Pau ends up here this off-season and than we snag Marc in 2015.

You don't need a PG to run the Triangle, You just need a player who plays within the system. Thats why I keep saying Shumpert is gonna start as one of the defacto guards
:leon:

Sounds good to me.

I'm really not feeling Pau, Marc would be the obvious better choice in 2015. Their is no need to make any major moves this summer, make a few minor tinkers with the roster & we'll be back in playoff contention next season. People are failing to realize that this is the 1st time we've missed the playoffs in the past 3-4 years, so their is no need for a total overhaul right now.

The I in Team
:whoa: Let's get this disclaimer out real quick... we are #KnickFam so we can disagree without "feeling some type of way"

I still disagree w/ you.

Think about Woody's rotatiosn and how the winning demeanor of the team was knocked out early.

Imagine Timmy & Murry on the 2012-2013 team coming off the bench. Look what having a winning atmosphere did for Chris Copeland. THJR would have possibly been in the running for Rookie of the year, if he was in Chris Copeland's place in the 2012-2013 season.

Keep Murry, let him get clean up time on a winning team, and he'll develop.

Felton SHOULD NOT be on this team even as a 3rd string. Package him w/ Chandler, J.R or Bargnani.

Also... Ron Artest should be resigned.

:patrice:

I'm gonna be real the two signings I disliked the most last summer were bargnani and artest. I felt like Artest's best days were behind him and he was gonna break down before the season ended. His knee issues sorta proved me right. He was not given a fair shake this year, but I have concerns with him.

I will say this about Murry, the Knicks have been poor on developing talent. Look no further than Shumpert. Having said that I ask myself what redeeming qualities do I take away from Murry. Pesky defense? Maybe:manny: but that's it. From Cole Aldrich I took away good hook shots with both hands, good rebounder and soft touch. From Tyler I took away good moves around the rim and athletic. It's hard for me to be in murrys corner breh.

I do agree with Felton, send him to Mars with that television crew:camby:.

Working title so suggestions appreciated.

Either way:

Woodson gone :camby:

Murry gone :camby:

Tyler gone :camby:

Chandler gone (hopefully) :camby:

Felton Jail :camby:

Will melo stay?:lupe: We will see. Should we try to trade Bargnanis expiring? I say yes. Also thought Amare finished strong. As much as I enjoyed seeing that he's still a huge liability health wise. This will be an interesting summer for the zen master.

Damn when Felton gets sentenced his contract is voided...hope the brother don't get time but New York is a slave state legality wise.

i think a sign and trade for melo to get some younger assets has to be explored............he is an elite scorer ball dominant small forward who rebounds while not necessarily making his team mates better plus coming off a second year should injury ( i believe its the same shoulder - true above waist injuries are less serious but still ) ..................if we can get some assets back in return and end up poised for greatness (like philly) then surely it must be considered

:heh: How did 'Melo not make his teammates better if they became the GOAT 3-pt shooting team last season (finished in the top 10 this season, despite injury) from his scoring prowess getting them all those open looks? How is he ball-dominate when Felton led the team in touches this season and has probably never lead his team in touches? Billups led them in that category in Denver. This means, he plays off the ball and leads his teams in usage because of the PG's orchestration. Different shoulder. If you don't like 'Melo and worship Lj (remember this thread?:pachaha:), who leads his team, not only in usage, but in touches because he is ball-dominate (because he can't play off the ball), then just say so; no need to make things up. :mjlol:

ya'll do realize that if u trade bargs expiring, you're gonna have to take a shytty contract back in return most likely, which would fukk up ya'll 2015 plans.

The stoop with dat dope fanny padding
Things to do this off-season:
  • Re-sign Melo. No explanation needed.
  • Upgrade the point guard position. Felton is Felton, Pablo is getting older & Murray hasn't really proved anything (granted he'll get a pass because he's a rookie)
  • Trade Bargnani. Some team has to want an his expiring contract :lupe:
  • Upgrade the coaching staff. Woodson has to go.
  • Lock Shump & Timmy Jr in the gym this summer & have them help each other work on each others game.

Go ahead and give Melo that 5 year 130 million dollar deal... You're a smart one!
