I think it raises a lot of the points that have been made in this thread, the East flattened out - it's less top heavy, but it has more solid-to-good teams this season. I think a change in coach and a change in front office/leadership/outlook can lead to legitimate gains. I just think people tend not to look around and see what the whole league is doing ASIDE from the knicks. There is a lot of competition in the east.
It'll be fun to watch Calderon/JR/Melo/Tim/Shump bomb away from the outside this season.

Always interesting to see the tangents that develop in here when there's barely any real news coming at this point in the off season.
With Phil running the show, a few locker room cancers in Felton and Chandler in the bushes, an actual offense being run, and no more free rides on the staff for bum ass Herb Williams and those of his ilk, there's going to be a different energy to this team come October.
Common sense that should translate to at least 10 more wins from last season.

Herb like. Y'all can't get rid of me that easy muffagas.
Remember once in the 90s the Knicks traded herb,I forget to what team, but they released him right away and the Knicks ended up re-signing him a couple of weeks later. Right there I knew Herb was gonna be around till his number is called lol
