1) a coach that's horrible at adjustments
2) a point guard who can't lead an offense, can't shoot and let's opposing pg run wild on him
3) lazy ass center


That's 10 extra wins brehs

Knicks weren't as bad as they played last year. They shouldn't have been fighting for the 8th seed when the season ended last year. If they remained the same in terms of how good they should be, hopefully the structure of the triangle will help us see exactly what kind of playoff team we are. There's nothing wrong with us treading water cause Chandler and Felton did absolutely nothing when we needed them to. This season we won't be looking to Dalembert to save us 24/7 defensively, and Calderon will be making smarter decisions than our *ahem* PG last year

Yeah but a solid offense alone can get you to the playoffs in the East. Yeah they won't be shyt once they get there without it, but no one is saying they are contenders.


Too many players on the knicks are in a contract year for them not to overachieve either. I expect at least a 40-45 game season based on that fact alone.

Are you saying their defense wasn't good enough? If so, why? They ranked 9th in opponents ppg, and this is with Felton playing awful on that end and NY's starting Center missing 27 games.

Why would their defense be worse next year than it was this year? Shouldn't it improve with the Triangle (they won't be spotted up in the corners, so they won't have to recover from being out of position), less injuries, and several wing players that are nice on defense?
