Decatur where its greater
If you're doing your own thing and paying a higher percentage in taxes then when you were working a 9-5 ur doing something wrong...........

nothing he said was profound, its just flat out common sense. If really need someone to tell you what he just posted then you wont excel.

That 100 dollar a week allowance..........nah, miss me with that........I'm not out here BMFing my cash, but i refuse to live like that.

Come on with this. You say this is common sense but most people don't think about this stuff. So ITS NOT COMMON SENSE. Just because you may have been taught the game doesn't mean you shouldn't spread the knowledge and try to upgrade everyone else's thinking.

The whole point is that once you learn about finances is to make better decisions so you CAN excel.

They don't teach about money is schools, most parents weren't taught about money themselves so how are the kids going to know? It's a vicious cycle that only stops once someone is taught and then continues to spread the knowledge.

throw yaself in the bushes.

Better to take advice from the person who makes $100k but is still living comfortably below their means opposed to someone making $100K WITH $200K in bills and debt.

As our income is making that steady increase to that $100k point I intend to keep our lifestyle below that so we can save, build wealth, retire early, and live life not worrying about what bill will be paid next.

It's okay to have fun cuz you're young and single but when you're older (40's) you'll look back at the money wasted and have regrets because you'll see how much further you would be in life and you could even be retirement ready without having to wait for the rule of 80 to kick in.

I eat what I want, drive what I like, dress how I want to dress. Live in the house I want to live in.The only rat race is living a life without God.

So far Marcus is the only one to verify his lifestyle.

selling weave is like selling crack to the community. there's good money in it, but you've gotta throw your morality in the bushes

my spending habits on clothes, gadgets and restaurants are horrific but Im very good at saving and not getting into debt, and being single Im lucky

my younger brother who for about ten years straight had been clearing over $200,000 a year who has a wife who just turned down a $800 A DAY job regularly taps me for money, he has two kids

he actually told me recently he doesnt think hes ever had more than $8000 in his savings account.... but he holidays with his family about 5 times a year

if someone needs someone else to tell them that they wont be successful in life by playing call of duty and watching porn for the majority of their free time then that person lacks common sense.

The problem, for most people, isnt that they dont know what they need to do to better themselves.......its simply that they dont do it.

Example, there is a upped thread on no fapping in this forum, why? Because a bunch of people who know what they need to do to better themselves (stop fapping) simply wont. It's that simple.

So no, you telling someone "You're most likely not going to jump from 40k to 140k in 3 weeks. You'll have to have a sound plan, and spend the majority of your time executing that plan." is not profound. Everyone already knows this, it's common sense. What people need to do is start doing.
