I don’t know the ins and outs of the law, but I know one of them is you don’t have to retreat if you feel threatened and you have the right to kill the aggressor.

She called the police and reported the threat before she decided to defend herself.

The cops should of been aware of the report, who made the report, and also been aware of the law before acting.

This is going to end up being a VERY complicated case.

Latest update has the police involved was taken off patrol duty which lends to the fact that his own Dept. knows that he fukked up. I'm a former federal officer, and we received the same training federal officers receive when they go to Glynn County Ga. We didn't have to travel because we had an on site shooting range. Anyway, we were also training to shoot to kill. But no way would I had ever done the shyt like you saw in this video. Most of my class was Black, and I can already tell you they wouldn't have done this either.

You cannot pull out a weapon and attack someone in front of 12...Once they arrive its over, all parties have to stand down and comply with their order...

This is clear cut, he was 100% in the right and justified in using his firearm...He yelled at her to put the knife down before she attempted to stab the girl in pink...

Furthermore, all stand your ground laws like Ohio's make clear, if someone draws a weapon in your immediate vicinity with intent to use it, you are 100% in the legal right to put that individual down with deadly force...

Stand your ground also applies to using deadly force to protect other people, not just yourself...The only thing it doesn't apply to is protecting property...

Her life was not in danger. The girl she tried to stab was standing there posing a threat to no one.

Your right to defend yourself stops when the threat stops.
