High School Principals around America manage to break up girl fights everyday, girls packing razors and pocketknives in their backpacks, but somehow this cop felt the need to shoot a 16 year old 4 times. The risk proportion did not necessitate the use of a gun. Period. I agree that there are students who have knives, heck, I know some who have guns. But once you pull out a knife, very few will try to play hero unless they're distracted. That's dangerous and nobody should be expected to do that, including cops.

The issue with the cop is dude had a badge but no authority in his voice. He wasn't gonna take control of the situation by himself. He sounds very soft. They wasn't going to listen to him. The dude stomped out a woman right in front his face.
