Realistically that cop made the "best" decision he could based upon his training. I believe a taser would have been just as effective on a 15 year old girl. That's not what he was trained to do, however. Bryant had the knife in her hand, cornered the other girl and was about to attack. He could have resolved this without killing Makiah but his use of deadly force isn't outside the guidelines for this situation.

Also the false narrative regarding the footage via the actual footage. I hate to be one of those "I have to hear all the facts" types when it comes to these officer involved shootings with blacks/minorities but after this; I'm going to await all the facts.

Nowhere did I say the cop was necessarily in the wrong . I was just responding to breh comparing a civilian to a cop . Also how regardless of the situation cops have murder on the mind with us .

A big issue I do have is why the police just standing around when she got shot . At that point provide assistance & get her medical help

Knife strike range is something they don’t play with. Tasers aren’t that plausible within like 20 feet

While it’s true she was trying to stab the girl, you do have the right to protect your castle and defend yourself in Ohio (and most if not all states). That’s what makes this a little more gray area. They were there to jump her apparently.

On the other hand, if you and your people are going to throw hands/knives, don’t call the police and let the chips fall where they may. Or call them after you’ve done what you had to do.

You cannot do that. I don't know if you ever shot a gun before, but the reason you target center mass is so you don't miss and hit something or someone else. It's not a video game where you get a reticle on someone and line up your shot and just pull the trigger. Add in heat of the moment and adrenaline and you better aim for center mass. Trying to hit body parts is difficult and sometimes even more foolish.

So are you trained to shoot between two people because that seems way more risky than shooting at a leg

We had a day yesterday where a cop got sen tenced toooo murderrrrr. Thats a great thing. Only toooo find out that while that sentencing was happening, a cop shot a black person again. Because we outside jumping our OWN people im sure over some dumb shyt.. a cop will be justified in shooting a black person. It has nothing to do with being judged by white people. Can you comprehend?

In a perfect world maybe the cop could have done more to protect both girls. But split decision with her actively trying to kill the other girl I can’t say the officer was wrong.

On the flip side had he hesitated or tried something else and the girl got stabbed up he would probably be criticized and lose his job for incompetency.

I was so angry yesterday and now I feel sick. Idk the story on how the fight started but obviously the girl needed help but as we now see what the cops are seeing as they pull up I understand how the girl who died now looks like the aggressor based on her size and having a knife. She may have been getting beat up prior to the cops coming so u never know she may have actually been fighting for her life before 12 got there but unfortunately this video makes things look bad for her. Also why is dude giving ol girl the big boot. Tired of seeing nikkas getting all up in these cat fights instead of breaking the shyt up. He could have gotten himself killed as well.
