Schools here now closed for Wednesday and Thursday or just Wednesday depending on county.

Good for us that SE movement looks to have stopped but guess they not sure what effects may be felt so they closing the schools.

With the storms moving counterclockwise and steering in a NE direction there would be a push on the Atlantic side as it crosses the state but i think it'll be too far north at that point that any effects on the east coast would be up near Jacksonville or Southern Georgia area.

The storm track hasn't changed much at all.
:patrice:
I bet it hits further north.

I know there's a cold front keeping it from veering too far north. Not sure what's to the south tho that can cause any change in movement. I think the cold front way more stronger far as wind and strength goes if it can block it.

Damn, this shyt looks real bad.

Luckily the Bucs are on a bye and don't play for another 2 weeks until their Monday night game, and their stadium is a bit further inland. But the lightning start their season now and their arena right next to the bay. I see they canceled the game tonight. Who knows how many they'll have to cancel or find another home if there's too much damage.

Hurricanes veer away from fronts. It's why we're good here in Louisiana. But I'm worried sick about Florida all the same. Crazy to get these ultra strong storms this late.

Mother Earth isn't feeling us much these days.
