Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
This thread is yet the latest example of why Aubrey stans are the fukkin WOAT fanbase in all of music. You have this dude who's made songs titled like "ALL ME" with lyrics/hooks such as these:

Got everything, I got everything
I cannot complain, I cannot
I don't even know how much I really made, I forgot
It's a lot, fukk that, never mind what I got
nikka don't watch that cause I
Came up, that's all me
Stayed true, that's all me (Yeah)
No help, that's all me
All me for real
Came up, that's all me
Stay true, that's all me
No help, that's all me
All me for real

1st Verse
Knew I was a man by the age of 6
I even fukked the girl that used to babysit
But that was years later on some crazy shyt
I heard your new shyt, nikka hated it
Damon Wayans homie don't play that shyt
I get paid a lot, you get paid a bit
And my latest shyt is like a greatest hits
God damn
Ain't no wishing over on this side
Y'all don't fukk with' us and we don't fukk with' y'all, it's no different over on this side
God damn
Should I listen to everybody or myself?
Cause myself just told myself, "You the motherfukkin' man, you don't need no help."

Cashin' checks and I'm bigging up my chest,
Ya'll keep talking 'bout who next,
But I'm about as big as it gets
I swear ya'll just wastin' ya'll breath,
I'm the light skinned Keith Sweat,
I'm a make it last forever,
It's not your time 'cause I ain't done yet,
Look, just understand that I'm on a roll like Cottonelle,
I was made for all of this shyt,
And I'm on the road box office sales,
I'm getting paid for all of this shyt,
Ask you to please excuse my table manners,
I was making room for the table dancers,
'Cause if we judging off your advances,
I just got paid like eight advances, God damn!

2nd Verse
Oh Me. Oh Me. Oh my. I think I done fukked too many women from the 305
'Fore the end of this year, I'll do King of Diamonds, three more times,
Smoking on that kush all in our section like it's legalized
Girl, you can't always have your way, sometimes it be like that
They don't really fukk with you like that, they ain't never did me like that
I just took my time, you got your shine, I let you eat like that
I been taught never to loan somebody what you need right back
And I need that shyt right back (no more free Randy)
I'm blessed than a motherfukker,
nikkas been stressed than a motherfukker
nikkas gettin' nervous, clutchin' they chests like a motherfukker,
Damn that's a motherfukker
Tell the truth, I don't listen to ya,
'Cause I don't like being lied to

And that ship won't sail,
And that wind won't guide you
Daddy was in jail we was talkin' through the window,
Like a motherfukking drive-through
That was back then man,
Now my nikkas rich enough to do whatever I do

But yet this clown is out here operating sweat shops with unknown artists who just hopes to one day be put on, to write his music, so his mediocre ass can perform it & ripe the vast majority of the benefits. Look at those damn lyrics in the bold.

Between this song and those reference tracks ("pray the real live forever man, pray the fakes get exposed"-QM), I honestly think this nikkas ghostwriters be trolling him to see if he would have the audacity to spit the verse that they crafted for him verbatim, so they can sit back and laugh at his clown ass dissing himself.

:wow:

to be fair, MAnnie Fresh said they all worked on albums. Back when they were doing Juvie "400 Degreez", everybody(Turk, BG, Wayne, Juvie) was in the room throwing out ideas. I can accept that.

I can accept writer camps in R&B. Tyrese did that for his last two albums.

Difference is, Tyrese isn't a song-writer, nor is he hailed as a rapper.

To basically pluck random dudes off the internet, probably take 75% of their publishing and credits is :upsetfavre:. On the flip-side, it just means Drake is a pop artist and nothing else. Taking dudes best work and crediting yourself for it is :scust:

This nikka really don't write shyt :why:

Now I'm wondering who the fukk wrote Room For Improvement and Comeback Season because those are the first two projects I heard from Drake.
I think he did those first 2 (have not heard RFI, heard most of Comeback Season). It's been rumors but with this information it's believable...he started with the writers on SFG with Nickelus F. I peeped difference of styles with the night and day of Charged Up and B2B. The Charged Up, 6 PM/5 AM/9 AM, Draft Day, even Paris Morton Music type shyt is probably him. The catchy, diss-but-it-works-the-clubs type shyt is outsourced.

Like I said a while back...Drake is the male version of Rihanna who happens to sing and rap.
I think its fair to say that at this point :yeshrug:

Breh, this was obvious in 2008. How is modern hip hop so stunned by the fact that Drake is actually a pop rapper, like he wasn't trying to be that from day 1? :mindblown:

Nineteen85 produced Hold On, Hotling Bling, 0-100 and Truffle Butter :ohhh:

I'll tell you a story.

There's a rapper called Shaun Boothe in Toronto, who got a Nineteen85 beat back in 2010:

I was so blown away by this beat I sent dude a message on Youtube telling him: "Yo... this beat is fukking incredible! There's so much more you can do with this beat. Your bars are not good enough. You're here rapping about getting high, weed, your delivery isn't all that... when you could turn this into a great relationship song. The girl's vocals are saying "let me go". Do something with that! Talk about what it's like when women are in relationships they wanna leave, but they can't muster up the courage to leave until the guy pushes them out. No one makes songs about that shyt, and it happens all the time. Even if you don't go with the relationship angle, do some shyt!"

Mind you, this is before it went on radio. I suggested that he should remix it, and put that out as the official version. And I said, "it's just a suggestion. I'm not saying I'm right and you have to take the suggestion. Just something to think about. I think you have something special here."

His response: "SirBiatch, you're a hater. fukk outta here."

:dead:

So I googled and found that the beat was made by some random dude named Nineteen85. I had a couple struggling rapper friends. I told them: "yo, this nikka Nineteen85... check for him. He might have some hot shyt before he gets snatched up by OVO and then you'll never see him."

Fast forward 5 years. Shaun Boothe is nowhere to be found. Nineteen85 is the biggest producer in Toronto (and by extension, one of the biggest producers of the new school in the rap game.)

You can sit here and hate Drake all you want. The dude has vision. Which is something A LOT of rappers lack. Then they wonder why people don't fukk with them.

Drake jealousy is at an all-time high, and it's funny as fukk to me.
