Abdul-Rauf was Curry's shot selection with Kobe's accuracy and Lukas defense...in the mid 90s.

Theres never been a stable place in the league for players that shoot like that unless they were lock down defenders, or rebound fiends, he was neither.

If he had Steph accuracy at the time he would've revolutionized the game, but for the era he was small chucker, who was on fire when he was on and frozen when he wasnt.

Pretty much.

He was considered a two guard in a point guard’s body at the time. While he was very quick and could shoot, he also had poor shot selection and was streaky. He never shot accurately from 3 point land until they shortened the line for those 3 years.

Other small sharp-shooters like Mark Price and Dana Barros had better shot selection and put up much better numbers from beyond the arc.
