The only reason the Warriors get disrespecte dlike this is b/c they don't have the all-time great players(or at least the reputation), yet.....but that's not to say Green, Barnes, etc couldn't keep a JAmes Worthy,Rambis or whoever else in check for a few games.

This is what makes these arguments so stupid.. It creates these scenarios where one team has gone through an evolution and found more efficient and dynamic ways to play.. While the other team is stuck in a time capsule with no advancements in technology or philosophy and stubbornly tries to do everything the "old fashion way "while wearing Converse Weapons with no arch support..
The debate all relies on one team making zero adjustments in preparation and execution..

Kareem would get exploited big time defensively against this Warriors team. Subpar P&R D and lethargy getting back in transition against the greatest offense of the modern era (arguably of all time) would largely offset anything he does in the post. He's not going off for 50 with today's zone principles against a team that swarms better than any in recent memory anyway.

He absolutely would. Can you imagine older Kareem having to guard a Curry/Dray P&R? And his laziness getting back in transition is a valid criticism that would get him blown up against Green who repeatedly pushes the ball up the floor.
You guys aren't looking at this from every angle. It's a lot more complex than "Kareem/Magic/Worthy>>>>>" these guys have weaknesses than can and would get exploited by another ATG team.

And why SHOULD they? Magic played on a team that won five championships, why would he think that any team in history would be one of his teams at his best? Same goes for pretty much most championship teams in history.
