It's not about "playing politics" but understanding that this is a CLASS ISSUE.

Vivek and Musk and Thiel and Zuckerberg and Bezos and sever other tech billionaires have gone
out of their way to spend a great deal of money on manipulating our politicians.

Peter Thiel is THE MOST egregious in that his hard work literally got him a VP.

He's a pretty blatant and open fascist.

There's also Musk who's political affiliations switch with the wind and he also have no fukking
problem openly influencing our politicians through his gargantuan wealth.

People to busy trying to "Own the magats" to ignore that money in our politics is a huge bipartisan
issue and TECH in particular has an outsized influence on our government. The H1B Visa thing is just the tip
of the iceberg but you need to understand that

Peter Theil, Lucky Palmer and Sam Altman are all fukking buddies.

No, you are still in here playing this “Democrats vs. Republicans” bullshyt while they are telling you to your face that it is about NONE of that.

Democrats are out… you and your/MAGATs “prize” for winning is the shyt is going on right now. There is no deflecting blame to Democrats, you all were warned.

I'm not playing anything.

Reread my posts.

Clearly the concept is going over your head.

I didn’t read all that and never planned too

I saw enough in the paragraphs above.

But ok.. keep playing politics and blaming Democrats for the billionaires you helped put in government to further their own personal interests.

I was gonna be quiet....but the past X amount of pages have been on some BS. do you work in tech?
No, I'm in Aerospace but we've also been affected by the H1B stuff.

Boeing is notorious for this for example:

A lot of the work I do is sheltered from this (to an extent), so I'm not nearly as worried as workers in other fields
are (and frankly they should be worried).

A lot of this is about positioning us to be less dependent on China.

This is happening in so many different fields and it's a bipartisan effort to remain competitive.
Whether it's preventing Nvidia chips:

or trying to improve American manufacturing of said chips:

There's a lot of political machinery at work here.

This is why I'm saying it's "Bipartisan", there is an effort right now to prepare us to be competitive against or remain ahead of China.

There's a lot to go into but yeah.

You didn't read it which is why your posts come off as unhinged breh.

It's fine, anyone reading my posts knows I'm neither a republican/magat OR a billionaire simp.

So break it down for me; what are so many people in this thread scared of? You have a job right? you have a skill right?

You're going to get laid off and some Indian is going to take your job?

He's a Boer..

Those of us that know them better were in utter amazement and disbelief when America adopted him :dahell:

Crazily enough fukking Peter Thiel also spent time in apartheid south africa.

His father worked at a god damn Uranium mine.

Two billionaire b*stards who come from a bigoted background are influencing politics RIGHT NOW.

On some diabolical, comic book villain fukkery tier shyt.

I think most of those people are afraid of offshoring and lowered wages.
Which means either less jobs or wage suppression.

Software products and hardware products that don't require clearances or any other special kind of access can
be built/designed in another country at a considerably lower cost than they'd have to pay in America.

We're basically dealing with a supply/demand issue where the talent is plentiful and cheap but like others (with way
more tech experience than me) have stated, the products aren't always "Good".

They get done but once they get back to the states, Western/American talent still needs to work on it/improve it.

Only thing I hope but idk…

Daddy Trump still Co-President and Republicans might be too scared of losing their Twitter accounts.

This is real too. I already seen a few bend the knee… and the whole cabinet billionaires who profit off of H1B.

Immigration reform is hard already. The Republicans will need their entire caucus + a few Dem defects to push a highly unpopular bill through congress. I don't see it.

Yea I'm sorry but it sounds like cap.

Remember when the long shore men went on strike this year?

they won cause they could back their shyt up.

Tech brehs gonna have to hold their nuts.

shyt is big business.

I really don't understand the outrage.

Everybody is replaceable.

Life is a competition.
