It's this. The answer is because Nap isn't coming over here to shovel shyt, bang rocks together, work in factories, or other generally unskilled labor that middle America uses to put food on the table. So those white people aren't in direct competition with that sector of Naps. Those are H1-B, brain drain Naps, whereas when you look to places like Canada and the UK, they're getting any old Nap - I think their immigration system is more easily exploitable for other members of The Commonwealth. Those countries have a larger portion of the population in direct competition so the anti Nap feelings are stronger.
A reality about immigrating to the states that many people don't know about, because they don't have to deal with it, is that legal immigration really ain't that easy. For the most part if you aren't a high skill individual, you can't do it. I encourage people to look it up. There will never be a good solution to a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants by design.
America's immigration system has created an enormous survivorship bias/filter for a certain standard compared to other countries. What comes through those border lines legally are going to be a lot sharper than your average American. They're a large reason why the floor is being raised in this country.
They create a really good base for their lineage if they choose smart partners to breed with from there. That's why you see their kids ace school easily.
More Mexican immigrants in the U.S. are highly skilled, study finds
"There is a dramatic change in the profile of Mexican immigrants coming to the United States," said Andrew Selee, president of the Migration Policy Institute.

Mind you, they're getting ABET-accredited Engineering degrees for free in their country, so they come to this country legally with zero college debt and an advanced degree.
Meanwhile, we're only making college more expensive. Republicans really are wack af.
