I might rebuy the game and play through it again. I beat it when it came out and sold it and deleted it. Killing those Klan members at the rally was one of the best videogame moments of my life! 
You have to take the back/white equation out of if though. I actually was loaned the game from a Filipino potna of mine and he was likeat first, until I had to school him on the representation of race dynamics during those times. Some other cultures and even young black kids really don’t have a clue what nikkas went through during those days, and kept fighting just to get to the point to have a game developed like that and produced..
Damn. See I never thought of it like that but you’re 100% right. And I’m always reading about the drop off in how public schools teach history and civics and just basic stuff that my gen learned and my parents gen learned. But then there’s just the cultural aspect. If you grew up in another country then there’s a good chance you’re ignorant of the history and in that sense a game like this is extremely helpful

That and shooting up the riverboat while green river played.
Another thing I love about these types of games and what rockstar does with GTA, is put me on to music. Outside of a few songs I’d never fukk with CCR but that green river shyt got into my soul. There are several other cuts from this soundtrack that I adore now

Lincoln makes an epic comeback, saves Vito, and becomes the kingpin of New Orleans...how is that not epic? Vito was made a bytch boy, getting treated like an old man and eventually left to rot in a freezer. Clay literally took on the families by himself, and was a made man. Again how was Mafia 3 not epic?

Mafia, like GTA doesnt use the same main characters, if it does go to columbia or Italy, expect a brand new character. Im done with Mafia, seeing how they fukked this game up, 3 was supposed to be one of the Best titles of 2017
Looking at reviews for all the game, it seems to me that they've ALL been mediocre. I've played 2 and 3 and I'd say I had more fun with 3 than 2.

Explain. I mean it’s not a huge open world. But you don’t have to do the missions in order. You can run around picking rackets to bust up and what order to go at. Plus each gang has side missions to improve your cash flow. Plus regular side missions
Skyrim it is not. But the map is completely open and it’s not linear.
The problem with this game is it’s fukking repetitive as fukk. So it’s open world but every single mission in the game is pretty much the same. They definitely could have varied that up.
