For the black folks in here buying it, I understand. But for others such as myself, it seems like it would be somewhat awkward playing it. I like to speak with my dollars, so if it's worth putting some cash behind, I don't mind. The concept is dope, and killing klan members definitely, sounds enjoyable. But if it seems like it's playing simply off the shock value, I still have plenty of other games to keep me busy. What say, thecoli? Subject matter aside, I was excited for it before I found out about the racial theming of it, and it's looking like a really well made project regardless.

The southern union part was hyped up on here, but that was part of a trailer which showed a lot more gameplay. They are part of a larger piece of the puzzle. It's only "racial themed" because the Mafia series was always more grounded in realism from the jump. The narrative is very very well put together.

You can't base a game in 1968 and not bring up race. The story doesn't isn't going to hold back because someone may get sensitive. Yea you are going to get called a ******. Yea people are going to treat you different based on your skin color.

Welcome to America. Where playing as a black protagonist in a video game makes people go :whoa:

UPDATE [10/6 / 6PM PT]: We currently have a patch running here at the studio that includes 30, 60, and unlimited frames-per-second options in the video menu, among other improvements for the PC version of Mafia III. We’re verifying the patch now to ensure everything is working as expected. If everything goes well, we expect the update to go live this weekend. We will be keeping the PC community up-to-date on the status of the patch throughout the weekend and thank you for all the feedback!

Mafia 1 was one of the first games i got on PS2, I enjoyed it a lot, Mafia 2 not so much. I hope 3 is better than the first 2.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
just picked up from redbox.... nikkas shyt on gta, but gta ALWAYS shyts on every game like this... they try and they try... but the attention to detail always comes up short

shyt feels clunky and the graphics are nowhere up to par

still a ok game... not great... not terrible... about a 7-7.5 so far... it's cool and all.. but lets not kid ourselves..

the actual GAME... the gaming.. it's not all that great

Too late...

Games already been cracked and my download finished...

Anyways gameplay so far is solid...Im playing on hard and got spotted several times creeping so far... I actually like the whole hitman stealth approach but this see through walls shyt is what really simplifies everything...I was hoping you would be able to John Rambo these cacs but that doesn't seem possible on hard mode...Maybe when I get a kevlar it will be more feasible...

Story so far solid like the previous Mafia games...:ehh:
