My only criticism is it would have liked to see Don do right by his family, but that wouldn't be the Don thing to do.

They had to end it with a coke commercial :wtf:

The way the guy described Coke to them when they were absorbed was like the gates of heaven opening - maybe its a metaphor for people getting what they want (apart from Betty. Because she's going to die).

And the chick at the desk looked like one of the girls at the beginning of the commercial, so he could have always gone back and created it.

The crazy thing is the way the ad was actually thought of is so damn mundane lol. But I love the idea that don created it and it came to him right there

I don't know...in a way she seems at peace...her dying has matured Sally, and I think Sally will end up being a great mom one day because of it. Funny being as how a lot of viewers of the show thought both Betty and Don were shytty parents :wow:

You weren't paying attention to the story Peggy told about wanting to work on coke. Plus didn't you hear the ding after he said ohm and smiled ? Don created the greatest commercial of all time and to this day you get themes of it. Listen to story the guy told about the fridge again also. He talked about hearing everyone eating and when the light went on and the fridge opened they smiled but didn't pick him to come out. Everyone smiles when getting a cold coke from the fridge and they never pass it over. Don used that story and his time at the retreat to create something that will never be forgotten.

I think Don gives the Coke idea to Peggy when he goes back to New York to stay with his family I don't see him returning to McCann :manny:

or maybe he did go back to McCann and pitched the Coke ad

either way he goes back to NY at some point

Thinking about it more, did Don hug that guy at the end because he knew exactly how he felt or because he inspired what would be the biggest ad in Don's career lol.

I've been quoted enough already about this , I get it :comeon: No need to write a novel to explain all about the last two minutes. I got a little distracted at the end but damn.

I was expecting a different ending but I'm content with it now :smugbiden:

Who online or in the media came up with the theory that Don would come up with the idea for the Coke ad?
